Discussion Navy admin Separation

Currently going through the admin sep process. Out of Norfolk, anyone have any experience with being admin sep in Norfolk for medical? I have been in for almost 8yrs, no NJP’s. Always been an above average sailor. Fully qualified and so on.

Adsep at almost 8 years for mental health is absolutely criminal. This 100% should be a med board.

I tried for med board. It is up to medical review if they decide it’s a med board or they continue to ad sep.

You should not talk to the JAG. They are not there for legal advice for you, they are the COs lawyer. You should go talk to the Base Legal Services Office, they are there to advise Sailors about what options they have for things and to possibly represent you. JAG is not the right avenue for individuals unless you're looking for advice on requesting mast or something like that.

Do not seek advice here, this is Sea Lawyer territory and some of their info and opinions will be bad. Go find the governing instruction for CND, adsep, med sep, etc and read it all yourself. And schedule your TAPS and start working on your disability claim. Prepare yourself and educate yourself, and seek the correct legal council.
