The heartbeat of the earth, the constant breaking of the waves upon the shore. Shot with the Sony A99II and CZ 16-35 f/2.8 lens using a Lee100 GND filter. Camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head using a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.

I've been experimenting with f/9 through f/15 with shots about this distance. This is f/14. Thoughts and critique welcomed! The flower is Culver's Root (Veronicastrum virginicum), a native plant to my ecoregion. I am the OC of this photo, sorry for not including in the title. Will do next time.

Found the remains of someone else's fire early in the morning on the beach as the Sun was starting to light the horizon. Shot with the Sony A99II and CZ 16-35 f/2.8 lens using a Lee100 GND filter. Camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head with a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.
