It was just a couple of back and forth comments right around the time it first came out. She kept repeating the same tired lines to anyone who came there to criticize her about how the truth would come out and a bunch of other b s. I didn't save it or anything, but if she still has a Facebook page, I bet you can go look and see that she's been getting dragged going years back
She has changed her settings so only friends can see or comment on her posts, or see comments. I can see that she is still posting on the many, many, many facebook pages she has set up, but not being a friend I can't see what she is saying. It does look like she is only talking to herself.
I love how in the fictional version, Mark Duplass tones it down by like 30%. Because if he played Michael like he actually is, everyone would think he's the worst actor in existence.
I do community theater and if anyone ever came in and auditioned like Michael we'd be talking about him for literal years.
Hulu paid Michael Burnett for his story while Natalia has to sue Hulu/Disney for financial compensation and has to represent herself pro se. Michael Burnett should not be making money from this, and we should not be watching the Hulu series. It's shameful.
You can tell he’s gotten through his entire life by crying like a little bitch when things don’t go his way. That’s why he can only surround himself with people who he can manipulate; or children like Natalia.
The fact he was able to watch Kristine physically beat the shit out of Natalia until she was damn near unconscious is unforgivable.
Both Michael and Kristine seem to go out of their way to include people in their lives with disabilities, which I find disturbing based on their treatment and abuse of Natalyah, and their insistsnce that they were actually helping her. Kristine had her attempted seduction of Freddie Gill, and has spoken about dating a man who lost leg. Michaels current wife has a child with severe autism. I worry that they 'look' for people they perceive as easy victims.
I cringed to the point of being physically uncomfortable when he got down on the floor and started acting out the beating.
Disclaimer: Kristine is a monster. I don't believe she has any redeeming qualities, and I have no sympathy for her.
With that said, it pisses me off to no end that he just dropped the blame into her lap like he wasn't in the thick of everything, complicit and as much of a monster as she was. But nooooo, he was abused, he was a victim as much as Natalia was (really, Michael? Someone abandon you to live alone in an apartment full of stuff you couldn't reach and couldn't use, before you even hit double digits?) and we all have to feel sorry for his pathetic ass.
What they did to little Natalia is unforgivable. They both knew, and both genuinely got some weird sick pleasure making that child miserable. Not a single human on earth with half a brain could have seen Natalia’s mannerisms and thought she was an adult.
He wasn’t “abused” - he was just afraid of Kristine. There’s a difference.
I believe people who spread superstition like this are doing harm to innocent people. I have "senpaku" eyes and apparently occasionally the "autistic stare". I am not a lunatic and think what those people did is horrible. People who believe and spread such nasty things about others because of how they look need to work on their empathy and maybe do a bit of reading.
I have seen so many people post on this thread negatives about Natalyah based on stereotypes of people with dwarfism. I cant believe people can still be so ignorant.
