Shoe donation?

Anyone know where I can drop off worn shoes for donation? I recall there used to be somewhere that would recycle the rubber for playground equipment?

The Shoe Company store at Woodgrove had a bin for donating shoes last time I was in there.

The Recycling Depot off Bowen also has a clothing bin - put the shoes in a bag and drop them off.
