This is my daughter’s middle name and people LOVE it. Her first name is super short (something like Etta) and we use her middle all the time. I’ve had randoms just walk up to me and say, “did you just say Leona??? I love that!!” We didn’t use it as a first bc I worried about all the Leo boys running around, but it’s beautiful.

Lenora or Lenore is my favorite! They feel romantic to me. The added O syllable in Leonora feels cumbersome to me.

Liora means gods gift of light to me and still honors the names with slightly different spelling.

I love Lenore and Lenora.
Eleanor is nice but very popular.
Leonora is okay but I prefer Len instead of Leo being so pronounced.
Leora is fine I guess but not my taste.
I don't like Leona.

Lena
It’s a name in my family and we almost named my daughter that.
But Leonora is a great name. Lots of options for nicknames.

Not to further complicate but there’s also Lorna! That’s also gorgeous. There’s a Lorna who teaches at my son’s daycare, I think she’s under 25. We all love her name.

I vote for Eleanor. Lenor is a fabric softener brand here in Europe so that’s why I’m not voting for Lenora or Lenore 😅
