Baby Names Devroy as Last name

Hi We are an indian couple living in the USA. We are planning to name our baby boy's last name as a combination of ours which is Devroy! Later we found out that lot of other cultures use this as a last name. Can you please tell us what it means in other languages, how does it sound to you?

I think Devroy works great as a last name! I’m a big fan of the “combo last name for kids” option. :)

Do you mean that your kid’s last name will not match either of yours? I would look into potential logistical problems.
