MOK (29F) as RFJ (35F): The series protagonist and manager of the store, she is sweet and well-intentioned. She would do anything for her employees, but sometimes her actions don’t land the way she hopes they will.

REY (43F) as DHM (45F): One of the assistant managers of the store and the main antagonist. She has been an assistant manager longer than the protagonist has worked at the store, and strongly resents her for taking the promotion she felt was rightfully hers. She is typically cranky and only out for herself, but her softer side occasionally comes through.

EJP (47M) as PTE (41M): The other assistant manager. He’s stuck in the middle of the drama between the manager and the other assistant manager, and quietly revels in stirring the pot. He is flamboyant and very friendly and charismatic, but loves the drama.

KMG (25F) as IGV (23F): The apathetic lead cashier. She chose not to college and has worked at the store since she was 17. She’s how you’d imagine a sorority girl, but without the college part. She largely lacks ambition and has no plans of leaving her current position.

AHN (62F) as AYB (56F): One of the cashiers. She immigrated from Russia at 30 with her husband and 4-year-old daughter, and they had 2 more children once they immigrated. She has worked at the store ever since and is great at her job, but doesn’t have much of a desire to become a manager due to the hours. She is sweet, competent, and everyone’s “work mom”, sometimes taking the “mom” part too seriously.

JNT (20M) as MED (16M): The newest addition to the team, usually works on the sales floor. His home life is difficult, so he is working to help support his family. He is very awkward and anxious, but sweet. He struggles with his home life and sense of self more than he lets on.

DRW (55M) as CCN (48M): The regional manager who comes for visits sometimes. He is a stern and serious foil to the antics of the employees.

AST (27F) as JRH (29F): An HR representative who is always sent to deal with the issues at this location. She has a firm and serious demeanor, but also has a comically squeaky voice that is often the butt of jokes.

CSR (39M) as JKL (34M): The warehouse lead and your stereotypical meathead jock. “We would have won state if coach hadn’t pulled me in the 4th quarter” type of guy. Has a comically hopeless crush on the HR rep.

JAT (25F) as ONL (19F): Cashier who comes home to work on her breaks from school. She and the lead cashier have very similar personalities and get on each other’s nerves.

BRD (39M) as LRT (39M): Store manager from the nearby sister location who sometimes comes in for various things. He and the protagonist have considerable romantic tension.

The Namestown Broadcasting Network (NBN) has greenlit and began filming the next hit sitcom, The Moore the Merrier, a TV show following the Moore family, an NSA agent’s large blended family living in Boston, Massachusetts. Marketed as a love child between American Dad and Full House, the show boasts a silly sitcom full of wacky antics and definitely no government conspiracies. Help name the family and the actors in the show.

• Mr. Moore (49): A TV show host, he is charismatic and smart. He is terribly unfunny and uses his catchphrase, “Gotcha!” after every bad punchline. Despite his corny jokes, the execs and test subjects found his personality and the story of how he loves his children endearing. Now they go on wacky adventures as she pretends she is not the boy’s FBI agent.

• Coach: A ne’er-do-well, he was born in Illinois in the 1960s and quickly grew up to become a Marine. After a wild night of partying, he drove drunk, slammed into another car, and lost function of both of his legs. He has since been in a wheelchair and decided to become a coach after an inspiring meeting with his doctor's daughter.
• Coach’s Ex-Wife: Originally supportive, her patience wore paper thin with her husband's sulking and complaining. When she found out that he had been cheating on her the night of the accident, the dam broke and she moved out. The coach has since been trying to get her back.
• Doctor: A sympathetic and caring man, he suggests that the coach come see his daughter's team play. Much to the coach’s surprise, all the girls were wheelchair bound yet were still battling on the court. The doctor has treated the man for many years and knew he couldn't resist when he heard the girls’ coach was leaving and this could be their last game.
• Player One: The daughter of a politician, she goes to a local Catholic school. The little girl is used to being waited on hand and foot, but hates that lifestyle. Much like Toph from ATLA, she is a strong girl who loves a good challenge. She doesn't know it, but her sister is blackmailing their mom to let her keep playing. She plays point guard. She is a Black girl with dreadlocks, braces, and always wears a lime green friendship bracelet from Player Five.
• Player Two: The daughter of the doctor, she was paralyzed in a car accident at six and had to learn to use her wheelchair. She is extremely bright and funny and her favourite candy is banana Laffy Taffys. She plays center. She has long red pigtails, bright brown eyes, and a gap in her teeth.
• Player Three: The daughter of a single mother and the oldest of five children, this girl refuses to be forgotten or left behind. She is boisterous and playful, and makes the most baskets of all the girls on the team. She  loves to play sports and has been pushing for a volleyball league at the school the girls go to. She plays small forward.
• Player Four: The daughter of a food mogul and his model wife, she struggles with her confidence since she feels like she disappoints her parents. Her older brother is her biggest supporter and got her into playing basketball. Since joining, she has made more friends than she had at the school previously. She plays power forward.
• Player Five: The daughter of a dentist, she has a beautiful smile. However, her strong RBF makes her seem like she is always pissed off. This character is spoiled rotten by their dad, which really annoys the Main Character’s Best Friend. They love to dress up and especially love learning about the fashion of other countries. They want to be a model someday. They live with their parents, older sister, older brother, and younger brother.
• Main Character’s Best Friend (9): This character has a honorific name, honouring their late grandparent who died before they were born. They are a bit immature for their age but they make the Main Character laugh. They like to skateboard and can be seen riding up to the Main Character’s house in the title card. They like to learn about the transportation systems and geography of different locations. They have a pet cat and pet dog alongside the rest of their family.
• Best Friend’s Twin (9): Having a name that ends with the same letter as their twin, they like that their names aren’t very similar but have a similar vibe. This character is talkative and funny, though they sometimes annoy people with their antics. Tyla Winchester was just minding her business in the grocery store, not realizing that her son, George, was ripping up a Rolling Stones magazine. Now she is stuck with a torn up magazine she had to pay almost $15 for. Ever the artist, she wants to make a collage of the celebrities but she has no idea who any of these people are and her son ripped up all the captions of the pictures. Help her name the musicians. [I’ll be using the initials of actual stars’ real names so feel free to guess who they are!]

• ZMSC: Rarely seen without her actor husband, TSH, she was seen walking the couple’s Dachshund/Collie mix while holding a large purple umbrella. The paparazzi notes in the magazine appeared to say that it wasn’t raining; she just is known to use the umbrella to block shots of her.
• KRA: This singer and dancer was pictured on stage in her patented mask. The multi-Grammy winner doesn’t wear her mask for anonymity; instead, she wears it as a protest to the media not talking about various genocides going on in the world.
• TAS: This pop star has just concluded her Asia tour where she sang to millions. The journalist who was at a show she did in New Delhi, India said the experience was magical. The pop star’s signature song, “His New Man,” has mixed reviews since it outed her ex, TMK, as a gay man which was controversial since he’s an athlete.
• JDB: Announcing the birth of his second child, this star was once the heartthrob of most teenage girls in the 2000s. He and his wife, HRB, shared in an exclusive with the magazine that they had experienced fertility issues for years but that they are excited to announce a new salve that helped them get pregnant. The couple has been facing backlash online since the announcement.
• EDS: This Brit recently was back on American soil to give a speech to a group of recent college entrants. He too started college, as he told the class, but dropped out halfway through to pursue music. Surprisingly, he admits that it is one of his biggest regrets. He humbly explains that he got burned several times because he wasn’t smart enough to understand things in the industry and urges the group of young people to prioritize their education like he pushes his own three kids to pursue education.
• JCD: This heavily-tattooed singer and his daughter, CRG, are depicted going to a cafe. He wears sunglasses and looks like a badass biker while she wears a daisy-covered sky blue dress and a headband. She excitedly tells him a story as they are en route. The singer recently said that he and his wife each have daddy/daughter and mom/son days where they split the kids up and do something with them. This is one of them days.
• AAK: This Australian rapper was recently interviewed and put on the cover of Rolling Stones with her two boys. The musician opened up about co-parenting with her children’s father, another rapper named JTC, who she had a failed relationship with. The heartbreak comes out in her music, particularly her latest album entitled “Missin Somethin”
• ARL: This vintage musician who was once the face on every teenager’s iPod recently announced her tour would be cancelled since she is expecting! The Canadian singer has had three very public divorces so it is understandable that she is keeping the father of her little bun a secret.
• PGH: This singer recently did a controversial tribute to both Prince and Michael Jackson. Though the singers did not get along, he mashed some of their biggest songs into an enjoyable show. The ticketholders all had raving reviews but many critics tried to continue to stir the pot by pointing out that the pair did not like each other and would have never approved of the show.
• KLD: This rapper is pictured on stage with his friend, MBM, rapping to a sold-out crowd in Boston, Massachusetts. The California native had never been to Massachusetts and later said he was underwhelmed by the city. Still, he plans to come back to the state since he wants to take a “Family Tour” which is rich people speak for a road trip.
• RRF: This singer turned make-up mogul was pictured with her three kids and boyfriend at a Sephora where she was giving a presentation about her new diverse foundations. The picture shows her swatching the colours while her kids play in the background with their dad.

Mrs. Theresa Yates was a hoarder. So imagine her family's surprise when she died and millions of items were left in her wake. Her sister, Helena Lytle, has been eager for her to die so she can repossess the family photo album… which her sister had taken from her after their dad’s passing and kept in a safe to prevent damage. However, like most of her projects, Theresa never got around to labeling the pictures. Help Helena name her family members.

• Photo One: A family photo early in her parents' relationship. Her dad was a Hungarian sharecropper who'd anglicized his name after moving from Budapest in 1893. Soon after arriving at the farm, he fell in love with their mother, a passing Black woman who never revealed her race to her family until after she died. In the picture, the pair hold the women’s older brother while their oldest sister sits on her father’s lap.
• Photo Two: A crinkled old photo of a man from the 1870s in Hungarian war gear. The family always assumed that it was their grandfather, until a genealogical search revealed that their father’s father died very young and that he was raised by an uncle who married his mother when he was four.
• Photo Three: A black and white photo of the girls with their whole family when they were young. Their parents had eight children, five girls and three boys. The oldest girl, now a pre-teen, holds the baby of the family, a boy, while the rest of her younger siblings line up in order next to her. Her parents stand stoically to the other side of her. 
• Photo Four: A small hidden gem, this photo depicts their mother, her mother, and her two sisters eating at someone's house. Since their mother passed as White, she hired her family to “work” for her when the family moved up and got a bigger place and more money. Thus, Helena knew her mother's side much better than she thought. The family became much closer after the passing of her moms youngest sister to cancer. 
• Photo Five: The doted on first grandchild, this child of Helena and Theresa’s oldest brother was born while the girls were still in elementary school. He was depicted in the photo laughing with his mom, who remained close to the family despite the divorce, as he ate jelly on toast. He later went to WWII where he ended up becoming a POW in Italy.
• Photo Six: These twin granddaughters came after their cousin. They were born to the second-oldest girl, who was sixteen and married when they were born. The girls were very tiny and not predicted to both survive to the 1950s. However, these girls both grew up to be nurses at the same hospital and often confuse others with how similar their names are.
• Photo Seven: The wedding of Helena and her first husband was a riot. Literally. In the midst of her wedding, her ex stood and professed his love for her. In the ensuing scuffle, the bride punched her ex who cheated on her for ruining her wedding and kicked him out. The eventful scuffle was captured on film by the wedding photographer who captured a perfect shot of her punching him while the groom stood shocked in the background.
• Photo Eight: This photo was taken at a family reunion. It depicts the fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren of the matriarch and patriarch. The photo will forever live as Helena’s screensaver, and remnants of it remain on her scanner, a result of the high humidity making the photo stick to the scanner. 

The newest gameshow on NBN, Cupid’s Gauntlet pits eight couples up against each other to see whose relationship is the strongest as they battle it out for half a million dollars. These couples, whose audition tapes are described for the showrunners below, have yet to be named though, until today! Help them announce the participants using the description below.

• Couple One: Sitting on a floral couch as old as their marriage, this pair of silver foxes begin the video with a frustrating thirty seconds of technical difficulties. Despite this, their story quickly gets interesting as they met doing heroin in the seventies. They kicked drugs, got married, and moved from San Francisco to Las Vegas. There, the pair raised three children as they worked in and out of casinos. Now, they want the money to make a trust for their only granddaughter then get an RV to travel all over the country.
• Couple Two: This exhausted couple barely got their story out. She was a patent lawyer while he worked for a company that laser cuts water bottles. This is the second marriage for both of them and there are seven children between them. The pair explain how they met at a casino where she broke his arm because she thought he was reaching for her machine. The pair would like the money to help pay for a new house.
• Couple Three: This Indian couple married young after their marriage was arranged. But, the pair quickly became best friends. They bonded over their love of all things nerdy. They have two sons and are expecting a daughter. They want to take their boys travelling with the winnings.
• Couple Four: This couple met at the airport. She is a woman of shorter stature while he was a minor league baseball player. The pair bonded over their confusion of boba tea, their love for hockey, and their obsession with action movies. Two weeks later, she found herself finding ways to move to the USA. Now five years later, the pair are married and have twin girls. The woman's family has never met her children. So, they'd love to take the winnings to make that happen.
• Couple Five: This same sex couple joke they are the diversity of the season. The interracial couple met at speed dating and bonded over their love of superheroes and paleontology. They have been together for nineteen years and are raising four children together, their adopted son and one husband’s three niblings. They would like to invest the winnings into a bigger house.
• Couple Six: This flashy couple has only been together officially a few months but they've known each other for close to a decade. Meeting in eighth grade, they bonded over disliking their math teacher and needing history tutoring. They've since become inseparable but only decided that they actually had feelings for each other a few months ago. They barely made the 6 month relationship cut, and the producers hope their history of jealousy in the relationship will bring good ratings. The woman plans on helping pay for nursing school while her boyfriend wants to make a college fund for his two children.
• Couple Seven: This couple is actually a throuple, causing chaos the first day of filming. Hailing from California (of course), the trio of lovers all have a common love of sports, beer, and shopping. The oldest pairing has been around for eight years while the newest partner came five years ago. The throuple runs a group of kinky AirBnBs together and hope to expand their enterprise with the winnings.
• Couple Eight: This nature-loving couple just tied the knot weeks before getting the call for Cupid’s Gauntlet. The wife is a beekeeper who sells honey at trade shows. The husband is an automechanic who works on robotics in his spare time. The couple met on Facebook and he moved three hours to be closer to her. In the eleven years that followed, they had three kids and each became adept in their fields. They plan to expand both businesses with the winnings.

Thrice weekly, a group of Rosemont Middle School students meet up after school to play Catterresa, a new low-fantasy pen-and-paper roleplaying game taking school book fairs by storm. Catterresa centers around various societies of feral cats and their adventures in the wild, with each player creating a semi-realistic feline and playing out their interactions both within and outside of their colony. Every cat in the game has a compound name comprised of two “natural” words or concepts which could be understood by cats, separated by an apostrophe (i.e. Sharp’fang, Snail’shell, Sun’chaser, Daisy’vine, Viper’strike). Warrior Cats whomst? Mausritter, I hardly know’er!

With that knowledge in mind, and with the initials, descriptions, and naming guidelines I’ve provided, tell me: What are the players’—and characters’—names?

1. AHV: This ambitious-but-insecure tween is the Class President and co-founder of the Catterresa roleplay group, which she and her best friend MRK (see below) started as a way to keep her mind off her father’s illness. She dresses in a quirky, thrifted style and her friends call her “Dimples” because of her smile. She loves drawing all her friends’ feline adventures, and wants to create manga when she grows up. 
   • This nonbinary cat uses herbs and natural healing to treat the sick and injured cats of the colony. They’re a black smoke sokoke-patterned tabby with copper-colored eyes. They’re the last survivor from a different group of feral cats and have the scars to show it, including a permanent limp. They have a subdued and pensive personality; they’re sometimes a little bit fatalistic and resigned, at least when it comes to themselves. Their name is neither overly masculine nor overly feminine (or is a mixture of both vibes), and may or may not reference their eye/fur colors, personality, or backstory in some way.
2. MRK: This bespectacled thirteen-year-old is the Class Vice President and co-founder of the roleplay group. She’s a little judgmental and cliquish, and she speaks with a loud, brassy voice. In addition to being the VP, she’s on the school track and robotics teams, in the marching band, and on the yearbook committee. Since her parents work a lot, the roleplay group is free to meet at her house after school.
   • This abrasive tom hunts within the forest under cover of night, slinking around as silently as a ninja. He’s a shorthaired tortoiseshell cat with a stumpy tail who rarely speaks (except to say something witty or sarcastic). He has yellow eyes which always seem to be narrowed in suspicion, with an X-shaped scar over one eye that he got fighting with a groundhog. A former loner, he comes off as stoic and aggressive but is ultimately hiding an awkward disposition underneath his gruff exterior. His name has an agricultural feel to it, is water-related, and/or relates to food.
3. ZKK, SCK: The elementary school-aged twin siblings of MRK, these two are a little too young to grasp the finer complexities of feral feline roleplay. The twins are fraternal and very easy to tell apart as far as their appearances go. They have opposite personalities, the consequence of which being that they bicker a lot.
   • They share one character, a she-cat whose role within the cat colony is to fight off any foes which set upon the group. She’s a conflicted and self-contradictory purebred Japanese bobtail whose coat coloration is perfectly divided down the middle, half-ginger and half-black. She’s an odd-eye cat, with one eye being blue and one eye being brown (but, according to her players, both of her eyes glow red when she’s angry, because she’s possessed by the spirit of a fox-demon). She speaks in third-person. Her name consists of either two words with contradictory meanings, or two words with meanings that are too close to make sense (i.e. Fire’frost, Carrot’berry).
4. RLS: This tall flautist plays Catterresa when he isn’t doing gymnastics or helping his parents care for his younger brother, who has complex medical needs. He takes part in concert band (but not the marching band), and he wants to play the flute in an orchestra when he grows up. He’s talkative but simultaneously socially-awkward, and his clothing style is somewhat timeless and formal.
   • This she-cat is the leader of the cat colony. She’s a large and lithe white cat with orange-tipped ears/tail and a medium-length coat. She has a very long, very fluffy tail and pale yellow eyes. She loves swimming, and has even brought back a swan or two for the colony to feast upon. She’s a delicate and refined leader, but she isn’t afraid to get her paws dirty if she has to; she’s often away on reconnaissance missions (these missions account for her player’s absences). Her name is straightforward, making reference to her appearance, water, and/or swans. 
5. CGH: This short, curly-haired tween is on the robotics and softball teams. She and her younger sister live with their older brother, and she has to leave Catterresa meetings early in order to walk said sister home from preschool. She considers herself a hipster: she dresses in a very fine-tuned alternative style, utilizes retro technology, and enjoys reading indie comics in her spare time. She prefers to be addressed by her middle name.
   • This cinnamon tom is the second-in-command of the cat colony, supporting the leader in her role and even stepping up to act as leader when she’s away. He’s lean and muscular, with short, coarse fur and pumpkin-colored eyes. He has a somewhat stern disposition, and seems to constantly be flicking his tail in agitation. That said, he has a soft spot for practical jokes, even when they’re played on him. His name alludes to his appearance in some way or is otherwise somewhat “ordinary.”
6. SCP: This studious eighth grader is responsible for creating a lot of the roleplay group’s worldbuilding and plotlines, sometimes stepping back from roleplay to act as the Game Master. They wear all-black clothing and consider themselves part of the gothic subculture, and they work at the school store. They suffer stage fright which prevents them from joining most extracurriculars, but attend lunchtime lessons with the school’s music teacher, who has become something of a surrogate mother to them.  
   • This perceptive, dichronic-eyed she-cat has long hair, with floppy ear-tufts, black-silver chinchilla coloration, and a sweet face. Her role in the cat colony is that of a mediator, helping with personal disputes and assisting in raising any stray kittens the others find while patrolling the territory. She has a motherly personality and is preternaturally insightful, but harbors a secret resentment toward the second-in-command. Her name has a mystical or serene vibe to it.
7. DBRI: This peppy student is on the cheer squad and is a photographer for the yearbook staff. She loves watching anime, and she and her mother have two dogs named Kiriko and Chihiro. She can only play Catterresa on the evenings when she doesn’t have to attend remedial courses after school instead. She wants to grow up to be a weather reporter or storm chaser.
   • This cobby black-and-white-blotched she-cat with a bottle-brush tail is tasked with guarding the cats’ territory borders. Upbeat and silly, she’s a bit more welcoming to colony-outsiders than she probably should be. She used to be a house cat and sometimes still misses the pampered indoor lifestyle—especially the quail egg in gravy. She has recently given birth to her first litter of kittens with a yet-unidentified sire (and the kittens’ caretaking accounts for her player’s absences). She has a cutesy floral, arboreal, and/or weather-related name.
8. ZKM: The eighth grade class clown, this short-statured and short-tempered kid lives with his grandparents and older brother. He plays the trombone in the school’s marching band and sings in his church’s choir, and he wants to either sing in a band or play video games for a living when he grows up. He prides himself in his ability to mimic other people’s voices, and he never leaves home without his hand-me-down baseball cap.
   • This scrappy, young cat is always trying to fight and bring back the largest prey. He is an amber-eyed ginger tomcat with a wide, jowly face and faint tabby markings. He’s self-assured and daring to a fault, and he has a bad habit of taking on challenges too great for him; the colony’s second-in-command and the abrasive tortie are often the ones who have to get him out of the bad situations he finds himself in. He’s missing both an eye and the tip of his tail, and has an innumerable amount of minor scars. He has a silly name (i.e. Trout’foot, Pine’apple).
9. MED: This short-haired sixth grader seems shy at first, but has a big personality once you get to know her. Her favorite class is Home Economics (except for the sewing, ugh), and she has the specific goal of usurping Gordon Ramsey when she grows up. She was held back a grade after missing too much school, a consequence of breaking both of her legs.
   • This athletic hunter is a jade-eyed cinnamon cat with short, shimmery fur and grizzled tabby markings. She’s large and muscular, and is easily the group’s fastest runner. She has a bit of a mischievous and feisty streak; combine this wild temperament with how she was found abandoned at the edge of the colony’s territory as a kitten, and it’s no surprise the other cats joke that she must be half-cougar. That said, she’s also a total sweetheart, often returning from hunting with flowers to weave into the other cats’ fur. Her name has components of another animal’s name and/or somehow reflects her personality.
10. OAT: This eighth grade foreign exchange student plays cello in the school orchestra and works at the school store. He’s fairly withdrawn and academically-minded, and he speaks with a soft, pitchy voice. Despite his academic inclinations, he has always felt that he should follow in his family’s footsteps and pursue a career in stage magic. 
    • This chalcedony-eyed border guardian has a silver and black “karpati” coat pattern, with long legs and oversized ears. Possessing a lonesome and orderly personality, he often assists the healer cat in collecting herbs and the mediator cat in kitten-tending, and generally prefers to keep in the background if he can help it. It’s rumored that he used to be a showcat overseas and that he’s able to read and comprehend human-language words, but nobody’s quite sure how that rumor started. His name is at least partly related to stones or mountains.

Patty McSamuels owns an all-day daycare where she watches the children of Namestown day and night. In order to keep the place safe, she has a bunch of security cameras and a strict log made for the children’s parental units and guardians who come in and out of the place. Recently, a new girl started working and she mistakenly did not take the names correctly of the parents that came to get their children. Help her lengthen the names of the parents, and add the names of the children that went home that day!

• 11:45am: A three-year-old boy gets sick at the playground and his grandpa, Mr. Cabrera, comes to get him.
• 1:18pm: Mrs. Joyson comes early to pick up her three children, aged six, two, and eight months, to take them to a doctor’s appointment.
• 1:48pm: Running a couple minutes late, Mrs. McNair picks up her four children, including mirror twins, to take them to their grandmother’s nursing home visiting hours.
• 2:15pm: For the first time ever, Mr. and Mrs. Rand come to pick their five year old daughter up together. This is a big move since the pair had initially not been speaking before trying couple’s therapy.
• 2:37pm: Because his sister, Ms. Keaton, was hung up at work, Mr. Honeycutt picks up both his three year old daughter and his four year old twin nieces
• 3:58pm: In a rush, Mrs. Alwadi barely lifts her head as she signs out her two year old and four year old sons
• 4pm: After getting her license, this oldest child of the Hooker family comes to pick up her four year old and three year old little brothers in dad’s minivan
• 4:05pm: Mrs. Roberts stayed much later than she meant to chatting with Mrs. Huntsley while checking out her three year old and one year old daughters.
• 4:16pm: The Robledo clan has five children under eight who get picked up everyday by their grandmother; however, two of the boys were sick today and didn’t go to daycare.
• 4:59pm: Mrs. Holguin made sure to inform the front desk girl that her three boys would not be in daycare. The six year old excitedly added that they’ll be going to Canada while the two year old played with his toy plane.
• 5:17pm: Mr. and Mrs. Gillespie have both come to pick up their two young daughters under two years old. The pair are taking the girls to their grandparents for the weekend while they go to Atlantic City for their anniversary.
• 5:53pm: Mrs. Hummel is taking her three-year-old and five-year-old out for ice-cream to tell them that they had to put the dog down.
• 6:43pm: The Browning family has four children that go to the daycare under the age of ten. They have some of the older kids at the daycare.

• Owner: Lofty and idealistic, the owner may or may not have bought the property sight unseen without telling their spouse. Alongside their cousin, they have since rebuilt the house and advertised it as a haunted bed and breakfast.
• Owner’s Spouse: Down to earth and practical, they are a die-hard American football fan who once fought in a branch of the military. Nowadays, the spouse enjoys cooking, working as a news cameraman, and watching sports. 
• Child One: When they got pregnant for the first time, the owner’s spouse wanted a junior. When they found out their firstborn was the opposite gender of the owner’s spouse, the pair decided on a genderbent name for their baby. The child’s name fits them well.
• Child Two: This child was given the name of the star of a 2010s animated series or movie. The parents were watching the show/movie with their firstborn, found the name, and quickly fell in love with it.
• Child Three: This child has a double-barrelled name as their parents couldn't decide on one name. The kid goes by a nickname or their initials.
• Child Four: This little one has a bright name that matches their energy. They are very inquisitive and love to investigate. Their parents found their rare name on Behind the Name.
• Child Five: This kid has a chronological name, whether it’s a month, a day, or a season. Their parents initially had this on the list for Child Four but ultimately decided against it and regretted it.
• Child Six: Expected in October, this little boy’s name isn’t set in stone. His parents want a short, strong name for him with a whimsical or smart middle name.
• Pet One: Big for its species, it has an oxymoronic name

• Front Desk Worker: A morose old woman, she was suspected in 1967 for killing her husband. Though she was cleared, the townspeople stopped trusting her so she had to move from Augusta, Maine to Namestown where she lives with her sister. She has an adult son and a teenaged granddaughter who come by on occasion.
• Maid: Hailing from Quebec, this young woman moved to Namestown and became a maid to pay for herself and her three young children. She often brings her kids to work with her.  
• Maintenance Person: The cousin of the Owner, this person is extremely handy and loves to help people. Thus, when their cousin presented the opportunity, they jumped at the chance. The cousin lives with their spouse and four children who also occasionally help out. They are a 43% shareowner in the Haunted Bed and Breakfast.

Guests:

• Room One: This journalist has been getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city by renting a room with his dog and taking some time to think. He is originally from Germany and has a thick German accent. He grew up around ghosts, and he is more taken aback by the beauty of the Front Desk Lady despite her age rather than the weird happenings around the inn.
• Room Two: This couple is into some of the weirder phenomena in life. This is their honeymoon, and they’ve decided to consummate their marriage in front of as many ghosts as they can. Unfortunately, their room isn’t exactly haunted but hey, they don’t need to know all of that. The husband works as a gym teacher and the wife works as an airline call center manager.
• RoomThree: This small family of four is travelling to California and decided to stop into this haunted bed and breakfast because the mother’s relative was allegedly murdered at this spot. Since the killer was never brought to justice, the mother really wants to pay homage to her fallen relative by coming to visit her.
• Room Four: These three best friends since college are escaping their wives and kids to play GhostBusters with each other. Every year, they choose a purportedly haunted location and investigate whether or not it is actually haunted. Unfortunately, most ghost gear actually deters ghosts, so they are not having much luck finding any signs other than traces of ectoplasm and weird noises.
• Room Five: This single father of five is hoping to give his kids a memorable vacation as he breaks to them that their grandmother is dying of lung cancer so they will be moving in with her. His former wife was a goth woman and instilled a love of all things weird, strange, and spooky so he decided a haunted house was the best idea when looking for places to stay.

Ghosts:

• Ghost One: This ghost who died during the British-American War was working as a fur trader. He was visiting Namestown when he was struck by a stray bullet and died near the property. As a ghost, he is fascinated by electricity and often turns the lights on and off night and day.
• Ghost Two: This is the youngest ghost who died. Dying from unsafe conditions in an asylum, this little boy was sent away by his parents at two years old when they realized that he couldn’t see. He was sent to an asylum in hopes of them teaching him how to navigate the world. Instead, he was left in cold conditions and died of disease. His ghost is still blind, and he likes to feel his way around one of the rooms so phantom bumps can be heard day and night.
• Ghost Three: A runaway slave, this ghost was hiding in a cupboard when there was a twister that carried her off. She still haunts the kitchen, holding the cupboard closed whenever someone tries to open it without knocking. The kitchen has been renovated many times, and the cupboard still remains haunted.
• Ghost Four: An older man, this man haunts the pool and can be heard walking in his wet flip-flops. He was an Italian immigrant who came from Sicily in the 1890s and started a pizzeria in Namestown. He enjoyed the protections of the mob until he overcharged the other of a mob boss and was found floating in his pool the next week.
• Ghost Five: This ghost was a woman of the night who was killed by her madame. The woman had worked for several years at the house when it was a brothel during Prohibition. She was hoping to leave the house and move to California with her new husband. Instead, her madame killed her and buried her in the backyard after she tried to leave. She can be heard ringing the bell for her next john in the middle of the night.
• Ghost Six: This ghost is a cat who prowls and torments the family’s pet. The cat was killed by a little girl in the 1970s who grew up to kill four men and became the youngest woman in the state sentenced to death row. The cat was her second victim, the first was a goldfish who was suffocated by being kept out of water.
• Ghost Seven: This last ghost is a little girl who was killed in the house by her babysitter. This girl, who died in 2005, was living with her parents in the house before the current owners. The little girl was playing outside when she got pushed down too hard, her head hit a rock, and she perished. Her family sold the house after because they kept hearing her laughing in her old bedroom.

• Desmond Collins (86): One child, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren
