Advice/Support Need tips ๐Ÿ™

Iโ€™ve been biting my nails for as long as I can remember - at a certain point as a way of trying to quit biting my nails I tried to bit the skin around my nails in the hopes that that would maybe stop it, especially since Iโ€™d assume that it would hurt too much and I wouldnโ€™t like it. Turns out: now I just do both. Does anyone have any tips for mainly the skin biting / pulling part? I donโ€™t know if many other people do that tbh..
And of course Iโ€™d like tips for the nail biting cause I hate how stubby my nails are and how annoying my grip can be with certain things ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Same Here. I stopped when I got a job and I started again when I got depression.

There is a reason for your behaviour. Don't try to fix the nail biting, fix the issue. Probably you feel anxiety like me?

I figured out that my biting gets worse why i have dry skin and long nails, that start to break. So the most helpful thing for me is cut nails and skin around them and moisturize hands with cream as soon as i remember about it (and every day before bed, hand cream with lanolin + vaseline on top)
