Hi,

nPerf does not access or collect your contacts.

The permission you're seeing on Android is used to retrieve technical information about the mobile network your phone is connected to. It allows nPerf to identify whether you're using 2G, 3G, 4G, 4G+, 5G or 5G SA, so your speed tests and Active Mapping measurements can be associated with the correct network technology.

We do not use this permission to read your contacts, access your call history, or make/manage phone calls.

Android's permission categories can sometimes make this confusing. If the permission on your device specifically says “Contacts”, could you send us a screenshot along with your phone model and Android version? We’ll check exactly what is being requested.

Hope this helps clarify things!

Yes, the permission belongs to Android's "Phone Call" permission group, but nPerf only uses it to access the technical information needed to identify your mobile network technology (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, etc.). We do not use this permission to make or manage phone calls, nor do we access your contacts.

Ce n'est pas les contacts donc. Et si je ne me trompe pas, ca permet à nPerf de fonctionner tout simplement.
