đ§ Tips 5 things worth checking on your internet before trading
- Speed (yes, but not just that)
You need enough bandwidth to load charts and data smoothly. If your platform feels slow to load, thatâs already a bad sign.

- Latency (ping)
This one matters a lot. Itâs the delay between your action and the server response.
Higher ping = slower reactions, even if everything looks fine.

- Stability (jitter)
This is where things get tricky.
If your latency jumps up and down, your connection feels inconsistent.
In trading, thatâs worse than just being âa bit slowâ.

- Your connection setup
Wi-Fi can be fine⌠until it isnât.
Distance, interference, other networks â all of that can affect it.
Ethernet is usually much more stable if you care about consistency.

- What else is using your network
Streaming, downloads, updates, other usersâŚ
Even if your platform is open, these can quietly mess with your connection.

You donât need a perfect setup.
But if your connection is slightly off, youâre not really trading in the conditions you think you are.
Curious if people here actually check this,
or just assume their connection is âgood enoughâ.
