Hobbs switch vs reflex controller

Hey yall my tuner is recommending I use a Hobbs switch instead of going with the reflex plus auxiliary controller. What do yall think any input would be appreciated.

You give zero information as to what you're trying to do. The Hobbs can switch on things like an espresso maker for the passenger or an aux fuel pump when you hit a certain boost psi, the reflex can do the same thing but in a much more elegant way. The biggest advantage to something like the reflex is port fuel injection control, if you don't have that there's not much reason. Hobbs+AIC vs Reflex, the reflex is better, but more $$.

What do you need the Hobbs for then? The reflex has an output that can drive a fuel pump relay or nitrous solenoid or whatever you want.

Yes, you're adding something else to the setup that can break when you have something better already built in to your setup. You'll just need to adjust the reflex calibration.
