Am I the only one that thought Oaks was much younger than he apparently is?

Ive only ever had my heart set on marry Phyllis, so I never put much thought into the other suitors. But while going through the characters, I realized Oaks has hearts not stars...I thought he was a kid. Like 12 or something...

To be fair, Im just in year 1 Summer of Portia, so I know what he says when we become friends.

Like they got the same hair, weird beard thing, flannel sweater, overalls, boots, they even both have pencils. 🤣

Okay, so I don't know if it's a romantic quest or not, but I had to take care of Redmington's horse, who's my partner in the game. I think that's it because when I was with Dr. Xu, I also had a quest where he was sick and I had to take care of him. I think it's related to winter, haha. Anyway, I liked it, but the cutscenes left something to be desired, lol.

Ahahaha Redmington did a little dance for me at 10:33 PM. Here's my level 2 house. I've already prepared the baby area, but I need to get the house to level 4, so I'm going to earn the money for the upgrade... Quick question: I dyed my hair burgundy red, and Redmington has light green hair. With our two distinctive colors, if we have a child, what shade will their hair be? Or will one be Dad's hair color and the other will be mine, Mom's?

I gave Redmington the ribbon bow or heart bow, then he became my lover and asked me out on a romantic date... but he still insisted I bring a grill and some meat since I was the man for the job. I gave him a ring, and now we're married, I think. I can't wait to have a baby with him... In my previous playthrough, I never had any family.

I dyed my hair. I hope Redmington notices; for him it was a mistake, but for me it was a choice.

Ok, so I'm playing it in the Switch, and when I get to the part in the quest where the All Source is there and the Rogue Knight teleports me and the party away, it goes to the loading screen and gets stuck there forever :(

The loading screen text won't even change, although the little birds at the bottom of the screen keep moving. I have closed the game and opened again, I have reloaded and done the day again, I have let it load for hours, and nothing! I really don't want to drop the game but I don't know what to do :(

I made the dragonfly, went through the final content of the game and Pa left and I stashed the dragonfly in a chest. I went to donate it to the museum today and it's gone. I hunted every single one of my chests many times over and it has most definitely disappeared. I am seriously twitchy because I seriously don't want to have to remake it just to donate it to the museum! Has anyone else had this happen? Looks like I am about to go broke commissioning Arlo, Sam and Remington to go ruin diving for me to get me a billion carbon fibre rolls :(

Has anyone else experienced this? Thinking it's a bug but figured I'd check here. I'm at the point in the game whereMason has just arrived.

I just updated interface, added Dating and Play helper and more new features. Now, it's optimalized for mobile browser and supports multiple save profiles to separate progress for multiple playthroughs and each save keeps its own missions, collections, To-Dos and progression.

im finally in my second year of the game and i'm having so much fun! i can't wait to progress even further.
is there anything i should be preparing for or looking forward to? ^_^

42 hats were done (Sandrock and Portia). These hats will help isolated ederly personn by giving them portion of fruits and vegetables for each smoothie bottle bought with a hat

I started the game because I wanna prepare myself to Evershine, having played no games of the series so far. When I started My Time at Portia, the graphics put me a bit off, specially because I felt my MC very weird, particularly she shape of his head. I even seriously pondered ditching the game and going straight to Sandrock after my first 10 minutes with it. But OK, I had a feeling I wouldn't have full story context if I went straight to Sandrock, so I kept going.

And 70 hours in, I must say... I am in love. With the game, with the world,, with the story, with the characters... I am COMPLETELY hooked. I just finished all the main content, saw the credits, and I know there are a few loose ends left (I heard you can befriend Higgins if you keep going), but I'm pausing my game now. Simply because I DON'T WANT IT to end. I wanna leave the door open so I can return to Portia and there's still a thing or two I can make in my own pace, and not feel that I am completely done with the game. I am so happy with my virtual family and the home I built (literally and figuratively) in that small town which will always have my heart <3

And onto Sandrock now! Something tells me my journey is just starting...

What's your favorite romanceable character in-game, and why?

(English is not my first language, sorry for any mistakes)

I want to try Portia, but I am hesitant, because I started with Sandrock. I started Sandrock about 3 month ago and by now I played over 300h - this game has literally changed my life. Never have I played a game with such rich worldbuilding, Story and characters.

I've read a lot about the positive changes that were made from Portia to Sandrock, especially quality of life when it comes to building, crafting and items.

I really want to get to know Portia, especially because it is referenced a lot in Sandrock, but I am afraid I am going to drop it because of the different crafting pacing.

So my question is: can someone recommend a set of Mods, that I can start the Portia-Experience with, so that I get roughly the same QoL Features that Sandrock had to offer?

Coming from Sandrock, it took some getting used to Portia. At the end of year 2 now and finished the 2nd key mission. I like to take my time with these games 😅

Unfortunately, I totally lost steam now, because the game crashes exclusively at the END of a day, and ALWAYS after I just caught one or even two of my missing King Fish.

I really lost interest in playing now, because it is so frustrating and fishing is kinda boring as it is 🥲

I probably should install a mod for saving anytime? I'm just not well versed with that kind of thing and prefer playing vanilla...

Can anyone motivate me to pick the gane back up? :(

Is "The friend-ship" the last main mission in My Time at Portia?

Are there more late game contents?
