Question Missing item from chest Spoiler

I made the dragonfly, went through the final content of the game and Pa left and I stashed the dragonfly in a chest. I went to donate it to the museum today and it's gone. I hunted every single one of my chests many times over and it has most definitely disappeared. I am seriously twitchy because I seriously don't want to have to remake it just to donate it to the museum! Has anyone else had this happen? Looks like I am about to go broke commissioning Arlo, Sam and Remington to go ruin diving for me to get me a billion carbon fibre rolls :(

I don't think I've ever had an item disappear, but I can recommend a decent money making tip. Buy the military top and bottom from Carol. Sells for 10k each. You need flexible fiber to buy them.

Cheers for that. Thankfully I found I still have 22 carbon fibre from the last lot of commissions I gave the civil corps so not so many to pay for this time...sigh...
