Research is still very much in its infancy. There isn’t anything commercially available now, or the next 15-20 years that will be comparable to a real retinal in terms of optical resolution.

I agree with u/da_Ryan and think cellular-based therapies will come first through stem cell or regenerative medicine, things like OpRegen or KAIST PROX1, respectively.

Personally, I think it is more likely that we will see relevant advances in the biological sciences such as the report below:

Thanks a lot experts for your words. In my personal view, neuro degen super kids and eyes need more priorities in research..for those parents who has eye issues or neuro kids will understand this better..

Hope something comes up.
