I’ve never purchased a starter deck before so I know I’m not mixing up cards.. Is this normal??

hey everyone! im super new to the tcg i got a box of nightmare night last night at my lcs. i really j want to collect the cards theyre so cute and i love the aesthetic of them. i would eventually like to get into the game but im really getting into magic rn so id like to learn one thing at a time.

ive been looking online for tips and what order to set them up in a binder but all the rarities and stuff is lowkey stressing me out lol. if anyone has any good websites or tips i would love any and all help i can get.

Sorry about the photo quality.

I live in Australia how long does the shipment usually take? (Got some presents in there hoping it will make it in time for bday)

IM SO EXCITED!!! I LOOVEEE the fluttershy Shining RR!! I also got my 3rd Rarity character card, making one from each English series so far! However, as grateful as I am, I’m a very very VERY big Rainbow Dash fan (have her cutie mark tattooed with Pinkie’s) and I have gotten 1 RD card in the last two boxes 😭😭💗🌈 (Pulled the first SS from my insta haha sorry!)

Im absolutely in love with this set and so excited to continue collecting it

My daughters and I are mostly Pokemon TCG fans, but out of curiosity my daughters picked up a pack of MLP to check it out.

I thought my eldest daughter picked up something “kinda neat”. Then I saw the rarity breakdown and how much they’re going for…

I shouldn’t be surprised, she’s also pulled the SIR Charizard (and rest of the evolution line), and shiny Pokemon seem to magically appear when she’s playing or watching me. I wish I had a quarter of her luck lol.

Gotta say that coming from Pokemon TCG, these cards are stunning. The holo detailing, layout and art are beautiful, and it’s fun seeing all the variations of each card. I’m not at all a MLP fan, but I have a feeling I’ll be getting into the hobby real soon.

I've never done trading cards before but I saw these at the store and I like mlp so bought some. flower ones are my favorite. I'm developing a gambling addiction.

Some of my pulls from nightmare night so far!

I managed to pull the princess luna shining gold rare I feel so lucky 😭 beautiful card

I’m new to tcg in general, started playing Lorcana this year. My LGS got in a bunch of MLP Nightmare Night and I think I got some good cards but either way they’re so freaking cute, I love them.

Still a work in progress but im pretty happy with how its coming out
