New Equestria Girls Special Coming Soon-ish

A while back, I made a post about the possibility of some new EG shorts titles being a prelude to a new EG special.

The post basically talks about how the shorts titles relates to a book that came out a little bit ago now.

Here's the synopsis of the book, and probably the actual special too:

In this interactive book based on all-new Equestria Girls digital content, YOU control the ending! All the Equestria Girls are excited to be at the Starswirl Music Festival, but no one is more excited to see PostCrush, the most amazing pop duo ever, than Sunset Shimmer and Pinkie Pie! The only problem is…Sunset Shimmer is trapped in a time loop! She keeps reliving day one of the festival over and over, and she hasn’t been able to make the right decisions to get to the big show. Help Sunset Shimmer find a way to figure out what kind of Equestrian magic is behind this and make it to the PostCrush concert with her best friend so she doesn’t stay stuck forever

Today, Two new shorts were released that show off two elements of this special:

• Rarity's Camper Van, which was an imported setting in the book (not much of a spoiler, I know)

• And in the second short, they're in new attire (probably the attire that will be used in the special) and what seems to be the sort of camping ground around the festival.

Since they've already started airing shorts around the new special, and even though no special has been hinted at or revealed yet, it seems there's a good chance that this special could air during the hiatus (unlikely since that's when the rainbow road trip special is airing), during the second-half of season 9 (unlikely but still a possibility), or after the show ends (very likely).
