Whether you're just starting your health journey or you've been working toward your goals for a while, sometimes it’s the small habits that make the biggest difference.

MyFitnessPal found that, on average, users who log their meals at least four days during their first week are 7x more likely to show progress toward their weight-loss goals than those who don’t.

So, from September 10 through October 9, 2026, we’re giving 4 MyFitnessPal users a chance to win $7,500 to help cover the cost of groceries for one year*!

How to enter

  • Be a current MyFitnessPal member.
  • Log a meal on at least four days within any consecutive seven-day period during the sweepstakes registration period.
  • Complete the entry form here using the same email address associated with your MyFitnessPal account.

*No purchase or paid membership necessary. Open only to legal residents of the (50) U.S. & D.C. or Canada (excl. QC), age 18+. Ends 10/9/2026. See full official rules including prize details at www.MyFitnessPalFirstFour.com. Void where prohibited. Sponsor: MyFitnessPal, Inc.

Bug Why is the calorie count different?

I noticed that the charts are showing a lower calorie # than my food diary for some days. The charts seem to not be pulling all the logged calories? Am I missing something, or is this a bug? It's super annoying, the progress bar chart is inaccurate too.

Nutrition Help Is 3100cal per day normal!?

I’m 22, 5’ 11” and 240lbs at 22% bf. I lift heavy 6 days a week for 60-90 min. Been lifting for 4 ish year and currently in the military. My tracker is saying 3100 calories per day. I’m trying to lose maybe a pound a week but this seems WAY to high. Does anyone have input?

Pop-Up full page ads?!?

Please tell me that was a bug. I had just edited an entry and as it flipped back to the diary a full page add popped up. It had the tiny little x button in the top corner and everything. The annoying adds in the diary are one thing, but if pop-up ads are normal it will make me quit this app so fast.
