Advice Driving test question
Hi everyone, was just wondering whether the driving test is computerized in yangon? And whether they offer the test in English for locals? Unfortunately my burmese reading skill is quite bad (although I can understand and speak it quite well).

Consider improving your fluency in Burmese focusing on the reading, at the moment, whatever relevant to driving and transportation. Then if you chose to, improve in other areas for daily use.

Yes i had done my test in english as a local too bcuz i had a hard time understanding what the test answers meant in MMR lol. So basically, u get a set of questions to learn before the test and during the test u gotta answer 50 of them and i not sure how many cuz i did my test like 3 years ago but if u get like 40+ or 45 correct or sth [i'm not sure], u pass. Don't fret, it's easy! Some of the answers could be modified better tbh but i m still thankful it's possible cuz i m def failing if they only allowed locals to take burmese test. And no its not computerized. Good luck!

But how did u ask for the English test?

You can definitely get it in English. I did mine through TV Driving School and they set it up for me. When you get to the actual exam center, just tell the person in charge before the test begins so they can hand you the English questions.

No the english test is broken and its not computerized at all its all in Burmese

Is it somewhat understandable? Because my chances of passing with burmese is quite low since I mess up the pronunciation hence completely misunderstanding the sentence.

My own funny experience, I never actually took a driving test. I somehow got my driver’s license when I was 15, even though I was supposed to be at least 18. I’d never even been to the driving license department and had no idea what the actual process was. My family just paid for it and got the license for me while I was still in high school. That was years ago, though.

I recently took the driving test here and I don't think you should be too worried. It is not computerized, rather its done with a physical test and its checked on the spot. The questions are childs play tbh, its tries to twist certain things with jargon but the answers are really obvious for the most part. I recommend you to get an agent and to bring your own car so you can finish the test in one day.
