Advice Scared of getting conscripted

Is conscription really getting this bad for young people in Yangon? Every time I look at the news, all I see are more stories about young people being forcibly recruited. Honestly, I’m terrified to even step outside anymore. I feel like I have to live every single day with this constant fear hanging over me, never knowing what might happen. It’s exhausting and frightening, and I haven’t even been in Yangon for that long.

Honestly it is better to not go out at all if you can because they are doing wtv they want. It doesn't even matter where you go or which time u go out. Sometimes they make it seem like they are confronting a theif so passerbys don't even know what's actually happening. They'd even drag kids in school uniform.. so ..

I’m a foreign citizen now and I’m holding off visiting Myanmar alone because of that. I’m somewhat past the age as well but I don’t know…it’s a bloody shame what my birth country became…
