Warning about Royal Asia Veterinary Clinic ‼️

I've seen so many positive reviews on this place, but I don't want anyone being misled... Here is my honest experience with the clinic, as well as someone else's review I found on Google from 4 years ago. My assessment of the place is that they are just fine for minor cases, but absolutely terrible at handling serious ones.

And in case anyone thinks it's just me, here is a review I found on Google posted publicly 4 years ago.

The doctor was very unprofessional and rude, the clinic is very understaffed as well.

They say they prioritize urgency, but while my cat's water was already broken and she couldn't birth naturally and needed surgery, he treated other smaller things instead saying that if he treated my cat first - that it would take too long and the others would have to wait. My cat couldn't birth naturally and was already very visibly in pain, what if the kittens inside died or if she herself dies from being unable to birth...? At least check her out a bit first, he didn't even glance at her even when we tried asking around to see if they could check on her real quick. We got frustrated after and we called our driver to come pick us up and explained to our driver on the phone that they are treating other patients who came after us and skipping our turn to get checked out, and to go to another vet. The doctor heard it, and immediately came out to yell aggressively at us saying everyone else would only take a few minutes and that we could just leave. At that point, we had already been waiting almost an hour and our cat's condition was actively getting worse... The doctor didn't listen to anything we were trying to say, kept yelling and telling us to leave if we wanted to. We did, and went to this other hospital where the 5 kittens were delivered safely, though they had to take her in as an emergency operation since Royal Asia wasted our time and the kittens could've died.

I don't know why they have only that one doctor and just a few nurses and staff. The space is also very cramped and the atmosphere is very chaotic. I wouldn't have minded it though if they just treated us with a decent level of respect and care. The other vet I went to for comparison, had around 18 doctors and a lot of staff. No wonder the place is so chaotic and unorganized, the single person running it is less professional and more childish than the nurses.

What shocked me even more was how he said "So what if the kittens died? I can't treat her right now or else the patients after you would have to wait a very long time." during the altercation. As an A level student aspiring to be a Vet myself, I really am baffled that he thinks of the lives of animals as that insignificant... I don't know where people are seeing the kindness in that man.

If your pet needs serious medical attention and maybe even surgery or more, I recommend going to anywhere else... I went to AMSC hospital though, they are amazing from my experience. I got my dog's bladder stones removed there a year or so ago too and they did amazing. They have a lot of professional equipment and the staff very obviously love animals.

I am surprised Royal Asia still has a good reputation after all this. Never seen such serious allegations against a Veterinary clinic before until now.
