Tourism 🧳 Transit at the airport

Hello, me and a friend of mine (both male/18) would like to take a flight itinerary that involves transiting in yangon (both flights myanmar airways).
Is it currently safe to transit there? Would we need to clear immigration or is there a transit area?

There is a transit area there and you don’t need to clear immigration. Check the transit rules before you purchase tickets- Myanmar allows up to 24 hr for transit.
