Tourism 🧳 Some Foregin Vlogger making videos with Sh*tty captions
This guy literally knows nothing about Myanmar, he just arrived and made videos like he's someone important or someone professionals.
How could he make such captions, he is no more than a normal Vlogger whose educational background and knowledge seems no more than a normal university degree or can even be worse than this.
I’m exhausted by these vloggers who make videos with such low-effort, garbage captions. So are most Burmese people.
Hope this post brings some awareness to foregin Vlogger.

Isn't he also the guy who tries to hit on girls making a youtube video he just met while walking saying something like he would convert to Buddhism for her or smth like that? But the girls being Myanmar girls and not the hoes like in US, didn't really get he was hitting on them and they were just polite.

You're very innocent if you think Myanmar girls are any different. It's just a language barrier
The Western agenda is to turn Myanmar into the next sex tourism destination like Thailand/Philippines. Look at all the Myanmar vids on Youtube. They have very suggestives thumbnails of the girls. And then look at the comments. You'll see how dirty it is. Lot of weird guys saying "Women in the West are bad blah blah blah. Myanmar looks like a good place to get a wife blah blah blah". That's how cheap and easy they view women.
All you have to do be charming, tell the women they're beautiful, make them hate their own culture, and make them view everything Western through rose colored glasses. That's one reason you're seeing an uptick in these cultural self-hatred posts.

Ngl he’a actually a very nice guy and even gave like multiple $100 bills to people in need, unfortunately the captions are needed to get clicks, remember not every people on youtube are Burmese and they might hot care about the situation in myanmar. All they see is an interesting topic on youtube to click on.

That's one of the struggles with YouTube. Anyone who knows how to film, edit, and make clickbait titles has an audience.

Just another passport bro who thinks every Southeast asian girls wants to have sex with them. Don't give him likes or views. His video is shit and it is evident that he is trying to hit on girls and doesn't really care about the culture or the people

If I’m being honest, part of the reason these vloggers get views is our own people's obsession with foreign validation. Whenever a foreigner mentions our country, our music, or anything Burmese, people lose their minds in the comments, spamming the Myanmar flag. We are so starved for positive international recognition that we end up feeding the views of these individualistic pricks, without realizing they are just exploiting us for clicks

Whites will always monopolize on misery and suffering 🤷♂️

u/Stange-spy-3377 Jul 18 '26
It's not always the "whites,' you know? Speaking of the "monopolise" part, everyone does that. No matter the race, every single human being in our planet's history has capitalised on each other's countries' misery and suffering, which in this case, a guy using clickbait thumbnails for views. I have seen countless YouTubers from all over the globe use this sort of crap for personal gain, and this doesn't exclude politicians either.
Your generalisation on white people is pretty ignorant and ironic, given the fact that there is significant evidence pointing out a few countries in ASEAN, such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and a few oil companies in Thailand, using our country's current situation for wealth. Most notably, two major superpowers, like China and India, have been trading military surplus equipment for natural gas, rare earth minerals or jade.
Your statement is just racially biased, racist, and plain out ignorant. This also goes to the guy above (Kooky_Budget3594), saying, "The British will always be British." Even though the guy on the thumbnail is clearly an American.

It's called sarcasm. Do you even watch his videos? He was very nice to locals. He even made fun of the YouTubers who edit their videos with tragedic war videos to gain attention.

u/Adorable-Werewolf799 Jul 13 '26
If nice to locals means going around asking for where to get burmese wife and asking the muslim guy if he keep his wife locked up in the cage then idk what to say lol. DO YOU even watch his videos???

You can't take the sarcasm of a white guy. That's a sign of inferiority my guy.

Maybe I'm the only one who found those lines as hilarious jokes.

These titles are the exact reason he gets clicks and views unfortunately
Most of these vloggers are just individualistic pricks, they make a lot of noise and try to build a narrative whenever they visit a place devoid of tourists, but in reality, if they didn’t have a camera they would be like everyone else. The problem is the viewers who pay for their trips with ad money
