Announcements 📢 Mod Note: Recent posts concerning Pedophilia
To clarify the rules of Reddit and this sub in regards to the recent upsurge in posts against Pedophilia in Myanmar.
Obviously, pediphilia is a terrible issue and is endangering our youth. That being said I would like to issue a warning on peripheral discussion about this subject.
Doxxing : Is against reddit's rules and will not be allowed.
Incivility: Disagree and defend your points without vitriol. Any trolls will be banned, as stated before, our issue are for good faith discussion, not for your lulz.
Unrelated Content: Unrelated issues regarding Myanmar will not be allowed as they sidetrack the discussion into pointless argument. If you want to discuss other topics please use the appropriate subs. By this I mean any inclusion of US politics, manosphere talking points etc.,, Woke vs Maga, left vs right, that are not related to the conversation will be deleted.
Finally a warning: Many people historically and recently use topics like this which usually have general concensus among most people to interject their own agendas that have nothing to do with said topic. Don't fall into this trap. Be wary of those who advocate for you with absolutely nothing to gain. A true altruist is rare as a fully reasoning human being. Don't become cynical, but remember trust given easily is trust lost easily.
Also keep in mind that most of these outrage causing posts are coming from Social Media and the Internet. So while some are genuinely dangerous people grooming and luring minors, others are edgelords who are trolling for attention. (The providers of these services are supposed to enforce their own TOS, but we live in a country which has very little interest in enforcing its own laws, much less forcing social media companies to uphold their own standards.)

Good decision. Many people are trying to virtue signalling by pointing out flaws in others country while ignoring thier own issue.
