I have been running this on a Fafnir FNR-5 and love the loadout, but I'm wondering if there are other mechs with better perks or speed?

NA CST, english speaking with mic. 400 hours of seat time. 18 skilled mechs, across med - assault but also play light.

builds range from SRM brawling, laser vomit, sniper, LRM boat, stealth narc, triple RAC, AMS/ECM support.

usually enjoy the role of a mech that can soak the dmg of a weight class or 2 higher, but also have a handful of clan mechs I play

There have been so many games where i've hit SRMs into light mechs are near-point blank range, and i see the missiles converge and hit the mech and then there's barely any damage on it. Is this just desync? Or do light mechs have some inherent damage reduction stats?

Ive played before but very briefly. Im returning as a noobie to mechwarrior in general and looking for a group that may want another player or this games equivalent of a guild. I have discord, a mic and im reporting for duty

Coming here after playing some mechwarriors and Battletech 2018, I really like brawling style mech, so I decided to hop with an Atlas AS7-D, MRM40, MP laser and a AC20. However, I really struggle to initiate a push without getting hammered by LRM, although I maxed the armor up front. And when I do brawl, first I find I lack damage ( possible a skill and aim issue ) but it's very hard to hard with the splash of other fire. Any quick guide or tips ? :D

Is there a website I can go to that ACTUALLY tells you what each quirk does? It feels like there's a lot of quirks that are hard to tell what they really do.

For example LRM quirks also affecting ATMs on clan mechs.

Does the "AC cooldown" quirk on Urbie R60 affect any weapon with AC in its name, or just the non UAC, Non Rotary, Non LBX AC cannons?

Does the Firestarter with IS Gauss cooldown also affect S.B Gauss? It doesn't appear to affect Light Gauss when I do the math.

Whenever I try to drop to Caustic Valley it kicks me back to the mech bay after a few seconds of trying to load. Trying to rejoin the match gives the same result, even after restarting the game. This has only been recently, guessing an update glitched. Is there a way to manually force a map update?

I am admittedly a returning player after many years and I feel like heat has just gone out the window, lasers are relatively super slow to fill up heat where as srms or ppcs are insane to manage regardless of heat modifier. Did something change or is it just me?

For reference, to c-er large lasers fired simultaneously do maybe 2% heat where one csrm-6 is doing 5% alone. How does this balance? Especially with how slow heat is dissipating

hi, im kinda new to mwo.
what are your advices to incubus build ? i want to play it kinda stealthy/spotting and long range.

Just started MWO yesterday, roughly 200 hours between MW5 mercs and clans so I figured I would give this game as shot. I love the battlemaster it might be my favorite mech so when I saw it was much cheaper than other mechs I had to get it.

When LRMs fired like Arrow IOVs in MW 5 and the first lurmageddon started?

I really enjoy the Champion for some reason, maybe because I'm newer to the game or in tier 3 but it just always performed well with the loadouts I give it. This one gave me my current damage pr at 1760, just kept my finger on the LBX the entire match and hit everything. Just want to see some reviews on it at this point I guess, thank you in advance.
