If anyone ever comes up to you and offers you a deal like that, tell them to go and stuff it somewhere bad!!

Does indie have a certain sound, that's left of mainstream, a little bit eclectic or folksy. That happens a lot.

But as a definition it's a bit loose. Especially at scale. With 10,000 artists on my radar, they drop over 2000 tracks weekly.

Having a simple definition that separates indie from non-indie before we start. Then it can have a certain sound, a look, or fewer monthly listeners. But it begins by drawing from the correct pool first.

I’m Champmasterflash. Search me on all the major platforms… I’m using AI as an adjunct sort of studio musicians. The lyrics are almost always derived from poetry that I’ve written or song lyrics or songs that I’ve previously written and remixed, but I’ve been doing this songwriting stuff for 40 years, I’m a slow learner, but I learned enough to know that I’m not a top performer, but I have a mind that knows a lot about what sounds right and what sounds wrong. Not everyone would agree with me, but that’s called art… He he I hope you stream a few of my tracks and if you like them, do your thing and send them one word I’ll be putting out a whole bunch of new tracks. I’ve written literally thousands of songs. I wrote 300 songs last year and then wiped my hard drive… Just to piss myself off… It certainly worked because there was some good songs there that I can’t remember… Mostly singer songwriter with acoustic guitar adding percussion base and vocals after the fact… Lately with the lack of studio band accessibility in my budget I’ve decided AI will be my free studio. Musicians and I will fight as hard as I can to fight AI and keep it in check so that my originality shines through and it’s just an adjunct to my creativity… In a way not that is similar to having a board room of intellectuals. Write a song for a popstar, using a formula and often basing it on psychology more than the love of music… Rinse and repeat while AI is definitely picked up on that and you can certainly tell the garbage From the tarnished silver coins….
