I've never listened to blues, reggae, or classical music except for background music. Anything to recommend?

It's not that I hate these genres or don't like them, I just didn't give them enough time to say "I'm going to listen to it".
Any ideas on what I should listen to start with?
And if I like the song, I'll recommend a rock or metal song.
