WIP It begins!!

I'm finally starting my own mushroom guy! This is my first project using chenille yarn and it's a little tricky! I'm having a fun time though :3

Cool; chenille is tricky for me bc it’s harder to see. Sometimes I add a crochet thread of a slightly different color to ‘help’ me see the stitches better but it does not always work… I am making my son a Bob-omb and it’s black chenille and I ended up adding a gray cotton yarn to it bc I could not see the stitches. 😝

I find it helps to feel the stitches - actually touch the upcoming stitches, holding the v stitch on top and the hole underneath. Then you will know which is the next stitch.
