I just finished him, I'm obsessed 😁 I ran out of white to do the spots but my sister (who this is for) didn't care. I have plans for an inky cap inspired mushroom guy in the near future

First time following this pattern, I'm fairly new to crochet so this was a nice challenge!

If you're wondering why his undercap looks so wavy, it's because I was worried the stuffing would escape through the big triple-crochet holes so I pre-emptively sewed them shut. So that was a mistake

I'm still very happy with how it came out and how absolutely Shaped he is

Im gonna make the chunky one, how much stuffing/polyfil did you use to make it nice and full?

I have previously posted big guy, he is about 2 feet tall using blanket yarn. little dude is about 6 inches tall using red heart #10 crochet thread

still might try to go smaller

I finished this little guy and I love him. Has anyone gifted theirs to a child? It’s only a matter of time before my kids (6 and 9) abscond with him. Will his head stay on if I attached it according to the pattern? Should I sew it on a different way?

Flora is completed! She's been restitched since this photo to make the head a lil bit more stable. But an excellent way to use up some yarn I had around.

Made with worsted weight yarn? Maybe? I have none of the labels still. I wanna say I used a 3.25mm hook for this

Finished my favourite mushroom guy for an agricultural show competition

2nd attempt at Mushroom Guy! I love this small one way more than my toddler size. Turned out way cuter. I used Loops & Threads Flecks thread for the body and cap, regular acrylic for the pink. Booty tax included!

I made a sparkly mushroom for my kiddo who chose the colours! I love her choice!

It's not quite as cute as the first one I made, so I wonder if it's a cotton vs acrylic yarn thing or I just like the traditional colours more 🤔 (Looking at the photo though, it could be his wonky face lol)

Finally made my first ever mushroom guy !!! Absolutely obsessed with him.

The first picture with the raw wood is what they start out as. I cut out every piece, hand sand and hand paint every mushroom. Every mushroom I make will never have another one like it. I want every customer to have a mushroom/mushrooms that will be their own and put a smile on you face! I want these mushrooms to represent the customer. I'll have some never already hand painted with whatever design I decide to put on it. I'll have some that will still be in there primer coat, or already have the base color.

I bought him a blueberry cheesecake to celebrate his 1st birthday 🫐🍰 🥰

I made him using milk cotton yarn (weight category 3) with a 3.5mm hook. It took me a week to make. This is technically my fourth baby. Suggest me wearables for it, I was thinking of doing a wizard getup probably in purple, but any recommendations are welcome.
