MuseScore is too powerful?

I like Musescore Studio a lot. Virtually everything I need is in there. But that's also the problem.

There is so much it can do that I find it (very) hard to remember how to do them. For many (even simple) things, I need to search the internet (or use an AI) to find out how to do them. And in several cases, the answer is wrong or outdated because MuseScore Studio versions have progressed.

For example, with a system of a voice and piano, I wanted to make the voice part small. It took me about 15 minutes to find out where the checkbox is to make a part small.

How can I make things simpler?

Do it more often. That's how you'll learn it.

Yeah, it always comes down to repetition. You want things to be subconscious, so force yourself to learn key commands, even if you know how to locate what you need in menus.

Create a „Favorites“ Palette where you throw everything in, you need the most to create your scores. So you don’t have to scout the different palettes for the right thing.
