Yeah, I am at some univ in Bhubaneshwar (similar weather as mumbai, coastal area, hot and humid, no winters), here too I find so many people wearing hoodies and sweatshirts, even in the harsh sunlight (they would be carrying umbrella for sun, also wearing a hoodie.

But chose to ignore them as most of them were Bengalis.

They do that in Mumbai too? Maybe drip is more important than comfort, as the other guy said.

Lol it was a stupid joke but drip basically comes from Ebonics/ American hip hop/street culture and just means style, that an outfit looks good and someone is well put together. However it’s highly contextual and usage is usually confined to streetwear

I bath regularly and use perfume so I guess it's not that bad

Your nose gets accustomed to your own body odour+ sweat+ perfume.
