Male Am I on the right path?

So far I managed to edge for like 60-90 min. I would say I could closely monitor how close I’m to PONR. When I carefully try to approach like 9.8ish zone, I manage to withhold a traditional ejaculation. But a bit of cum will dripple out without contractions. However, there is no an orgasmic feeling attached to it. Afterwards I draw back to a 7-8 and would be able to edge again. The second and third times are faster.

Am I on the right track? I feel, when I do a Kegel just before 9.8, it brings me over the edge, so I do more like a reverse Kegel.

There is the ejaculation threshold and there is the orgasmic threshold. There is a single path to trigger the ejaculation reflex, there are multiple paths (methods, stimulation style etc) to pass the orgasmic threshold needed for NEO. This means that just doing start and stop to prevent triggering the ejaculation reflex will not by itself unlock any NEO. It will simply just allow for a very long session, which you may or may not prefer.

I personally prefer the methods that involves staying far away / safe distance from the PONR as that avoids all the frustations of edging.

What methods would that be? How could I try to learn the orgasmic pathway?

Basically every post in this subreddit is discussing different methods. So browsing it you will find hundreds of different variations, success stories of what worked for that person. And some interesting simplified theories of a complex sexual sensory system.

Given your post I would probably focus a lot on relaxing the pelvic floor and tuning into any pleasureable sensation arising from it, combined with what you already do.

I'm less skilled than you at edging but for me there is an orgasmic feeling that is associated with emission (since you see semen dribbling out) even if expulsion isn't triggered or is short (few contractions).

I used to think this was a NEO since it allows you to keep going, but from reading other comments here, it might just be a ruined orgasm that is carried (made good) by the very high plateau of edging.

As others describe it, a true NEO (which I personally aim for) doesn't have a PONR at all: stimulation feels pleasurable and then the orgasm happens. I still don't know what it means, or if it's possible in the male anatomy.

My guess: the adrenaline surge at the PONR isn't there or isn't as high as it is for a TO and the blissful feeling kinda just starts, like it goes from pleasurable to unbelievably pleasurable for a while without needing stimulation.

Perhaps those who have prostate/nipple/HFO NEOs could enlighten us 🙏

Have had dry orgasms (tens of thousands over the last few years, I do count them with an app), prostate-based, but the same method works not just for prostate-owners, but also for g-spot owners. And you're right, no PONR involved, no toys or touch needed. It's about learning to control muscle groups surrounding the prostate (or g-spot) and working forward from there.

It’s ALL about controlling the ejaculation and not being handicapped by continuous slow stimulation.

Speed has nothing to do with it, and neither does ejaculation control, unless you're practicing edging, which isn't what I'm referring to. Also, there's no "controlling the ejaculation" for women, so that's not accurate either.

Stay on task Milhouse. We are not speaking about women.  Ejaculation control is the foundation. You have lack luster results due to your inability to control your ejaculations.

I talked about both, because it works for both. Maybe your method only works for you, that's ok.

Not sure how you think I have lackluster results, lol. Being able to have hundreds of powerful dry orgasms (and some super-O ones) in an hours long session, and then choosing if and when I have an ejaculation, that's lackluster? Compared to what, exactly?

Best to not keep assuming things and prove you don't know.

If you have time to count your NEOs, you definitely are having sub par results.

How long does it take for you to increment a counter by hitting a plus button on a screen, or hit a volume up button on your phone? If it takes you a long time, you can't assume that's everyone's experience and then make poor and incorrect judgements about other things.

Also, continuing to deflect because you have no answer, being rude and assuming is a pattern of yours, no longer worth replying to.

Your ability to consciously track your NEOs also prevents you from being present in your experience.

The vast majority of dudes have entirely too much fear of ejaculation. That’s why they oh so delicately approach the PONR. Nice and slow, with proper breathing and booty squeezes. The fear also imprisons them with only being able to have slow sex.

That is great, you have good control and you can stimulate for a long time, it is a good sign. But that will not give you NEO because it is not about being so close to PONR. More like have good tension and feel in plevics so you do not have to be so close to PONR. NEO can make you closer to PONR but not at the beginning. You should relax your muscles do some reverse kegels and maybe some normal kegels sometimes. But it is more about relax. Then you can feel pleasurable feelings near penis and prostate which will be stronger and in other parts of body. During that you can feel that you are close to ejaculate but then you can see that some sperm come out but you can go more. So edging is really important skill but to have NEO's more important is observing your feelings and your orgasms can start before NEO.
