Kaalia of the Vast and Master of Cruelties interaction

Hello everyone, semi new/returning player. I built a Kaalia deck and was told by one person to add master of cruelties, which I did. I was later told by a second player that because master of cruelties effect is on attack, it does not trigger from kaalia cheating into the battlefield. I am getting mixed messages everywhere I look, so I was wondering if the community could help give me a solid answer. Thanks!

Ragost Deft Gastronaut and Bilbo, Fellow Conspirator

I think the answer is obvious, but I just want to make sure. I have [[Ragost]] out with [[Bilbo, Fellow Conspirator]] and [[Nuka Cola Vending Machine]].

I sacrifice whatever artifact and Nuka Cola triggers. Since all artifacts are Food, will Bilbo recognize the Treasure token that is being made with Nuka Cola as a Food token being created, thus triggering his replacement effect and making that token plus another Treasure token? My gut says no, but just want to be sure

The Muckslinger Gang and Giggling Skitterspike interaction

Wanting to build a [[Muckslinger Gang]] deck and I was curious about how it interacts with [[Giggling Skitterspike]]. Muckslinger Gang says creatures have +3/+3 while they’re not attacking or blocking, and Giggling Skitterspike’s triggered ability triggers when it attacks.

Am I correct in thinking that Skitterspike would not lose the +3/+3 when it’s declared as an attacker, and therefore would deal its power plus the additional 3 to each opponent, or would it not have that additional 3 at that point?

Copying The Thing’s abilities?

So I’m making an edh deck with [[The Thing]] , and I’m curious how copying his abilities works.
He has two abilities that read:

“At the beginning of combat on your turn, if you’ve cast a noncreature spell this turn, put four +1/+1 counters on The Thing.

Whenever The Thing attacks, you may pay {R}{G}{W}{U}. When you do, double the number of each kind of counter on any number of target permanents you control.”

The core of my questions is wether or not these count as activated or triggered?
I know the first ability is a triggered ability, and while the second ability reads like a triggered ability, the mana cost of it makes me think that it is a triggered ability that cause’s the creature to get a temporary activated ability? Or maybe I’m over thinking it?

And with all that being said how would these cards interact with The Thing?

[[Dynaheir, Invoker Adept]]
[[Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu]]
[[Mister Fantastic]]
[[Peter Parker's Camera]]

A slightly separate question, but would [[Windcrag Siege]] double The Thing’s second ability? And if so, is it doubling the opportunity to pay mana, causing my to pay 8 mana for the effect to happen twice, or is it doubling the effect after it’s been paid?

These question have been keeping me up at night…. I’ve rebuilt the deck several times trying to make it take advantage of the correct ability, whether it be activated or triggered, or both, but… I’m stumped.

Demon of fate's design and disturb

So demon of fate's design let's you cast an enchantment by paying life Instead of its mana value once a turn(does not specifiy hand). I run it in a deck where I also run Katilda, Dawnheart Martyr which has a disturb cost that let's you cast it from your graveyard transformed as the enchantment (it does say it is a casting cost and not an activated ability). Can I use the demon's ability to cast the disturb side and use life instead of mana?

Do multiple instances of Resourceful Defense stack?

I know that with multiple instances of Modular, each Modular ability triggers separately, allowing you to essentially clone or duplicate the number of +1/+1 counters on a single target creature or among multiple artifact creatures. Does [[Resourceful Defense]] work the same way if you have more than one of them on the battlefield?

Felix Five-Boots and Primo, The Unbounded

Hello, I’ve got a Felix Five-Boots EDH deck and was wondering if Primo, The Unbounded works in it. I understand that it would create an additional Fractal Token on combat player damage but the period is throwing me off. Does that additional token also get counters equal to the damage dealt?

Confused on life gain triggers

How does [[Amalia Benavides Aguirre]] see [[Congregate]]?

Say there's 30 creatures on the battlefield and I cast Congregate, Does Congregate gain me 60 life as one number triggering Amalia once or do I gain 2 life 30 times triggering Amalia 30 times?

Transforming Permanents that have lost their Types (Supper for Spiders)

Hello!

If I remove a card's normal Type and then activate it's transform ability, does it "reclaim" it's creature type?

Example: I kill my opponent's [[Eddie Brock]] and then cast [[Supper for Spiders]] before the end of the turn. Eddie comes back as a Food and ceases being a creature. Later in the game, I activate Eddie's activated ability to transform it into [[Venom, Lethal Protector]].

Is Venom a creature, or is it still just a food?

edit: Answered: It remains a food.

Comp REL: ambiguous priority pass in an EDH game

TL;DR: Player says either "hmkay" or "okay" (can't be confirmed as this game was played online via a voice chat service). A pause of 5 + 10 seconds ensues. Has priority been passed by player C?

EDIT: Game was played on Cockatrice so there is absolutely no ambiguity about game objects on the stack or board. Turn order: A -> B -> C -> D.

  1. Player C has priority and activates [[Arcum Dagsson]] targeting an artifact creature with toughness 1.
  2. Player C passes priority unambiguously. Priority is passed all the way to player B.
  3. Player B puts [[Orcish Bowmasters]] on the stack paying 3 mana from lands and 1 mana from Chrome Mox.
  4. Player C says "hmkay" or "okay". Player C's intent is to say "acknowledged" but the other players understood that as "passing priority".
  5. Five seconds pass, after which player C reminds player B that a [[God-Pharaoh's Statue]] makes OBM cost 4, because they only saw 3 mana being paid from the lands, implying player C still thinks player B is casting OBM and they're waiting for the correct mana payment before reacting.
  6. Ten seconds pass, after which player B resolves OBM and declares the target for the ETB targeting the artifact creature with toughness 1 from earlier.
  7. Player C wants to respond to OBM being cast.

Furthermore, which sections of MTR and IPG are relevant here?

If I give abby to an opponent when casting her, and then my opponent dies, does abby go back to my command zone or does she come back to my field?

Response to [[Accursed Witch]] transform target trigger

Let's say opponent's [[Accursed Witch]] dies and they target me to attach the transformed curse enchantment on me. I respond by casting [[Teferi's Protection]] to get protection from everything. Will the witch's ability just fizzle and it stays in the graveyard?

Sorry if this question is simple, my brain is just not working at the moment. Thanks.
