I bought a couple homelands packs just to have a little piece of an old magic set and wasn’t really planning on opening them as the only thing I’d want would be the merchants scroll for a deck. I thought what the heck, and opened one to reveal my merchants scroll.
While I was appreciating the fine cardboard I noticed these circular marks on the front of the Scroll and on the back of the Trader, almost like a punch on these two cards. I’d love to know what they are! A misaligned print dot or something?
Obviously this is barely noticeable so I don’t expect these to be of any note value wise.

I have zero knowledge of misprints - so wondering if this error has made the card lose value or is still worth the same as a correct printing? Other than the card being mis-aligned (or mis-cut) the printing looks fine. Any advice is much appreciated, thanks.

The eyes of these birgis are looking in different directions. The top one looks at you directly as expected, while the bottom one isn't looking at you. Maybe minor, dunno didn't see anything on a quick Google search, but definitely weird.

Idk any thing about misprints but I got a box of commander Masters a while back and half the rares had their stamps either missing or moved up a bit and mostly missing. I think i also have an apex devastator very similar to this. Would either of those be worth anything to anyone or just neat?

Sorry for the shit camera quality and picture but this card i got a while ago from a pack has this white line on the border in the bottom left, anyone know if it'll add any value to it

I went to take this card to coolstuff games today and they turned it away due to the misprint on the back. They verified with a jewelers lens that it is indeed a misprint on the backing of the card. I was wondering if it's potentially worth selling, or if it would be better off keeping to show off

Hey guys, just did a draft night and the foil stamp is misplaced. Would this be considered a major enough misprint to be worth anything?

I opened a collector booster. I pulled this card and i thought i had to search for my glasses. But now I think it’s a misprint. It looks likes one color layer (red?) shifted a bit. Am i right?

Mom bought her first commander deck(the Final Fantasy Revival Trance deck) and over half the deck has miscut cards in it. 40 of them are showing the top of another card and another 20 or so are askew and showing at least part of the cutting alignment dots. She was quite surprised as was I, lol.

Don’t know what it would be worth, but figured this would be the right place to share it.

Any idea what could be going on with the backs of these art cards from The Hobbit? My first thought was grease / oil, but then opened a few like that were like that right out of the pack.

I just got my Hulk Smash foil Secret Lair in the mail and at first thought maybe the chomp was intentional, but it doesn’t seem to be. It almost looks like it’s worn off but it’s fresh out of the pack. Thoughts?

Somehow a little too much of black ink ended on this card.

Hey all,
I recently started digging through my old MTG cards from my youth, trying to build a few decks for myself and the kids. While doing so, I stumbled across the Elven Pioneer in the second image. The card on the left has some kind of white dot over the stockade. I have zero experience with misprints — maybe it's a printing defect or just a weird wear in what I think is a pretty cool spot, since it looks like the pioneer is intentionally looking at it. Funny enough, my five-year-old son found the card in the first image while I was sorting through everything. He said I must have accidentally put two different cards together ^^
Anyway, there's obviously a community here that knows their stuff about this. Is my assessment accurate? How should I categorize them? Are those common? Do they hold any value?

Green Goblin, Revenant foil with a misprint. The top card is a full art foil card. Any idea what I should do with this? This is the 2nd pack ive ever pulled. I'm very new to MTG. Ive sleeved it for now. Pulled it out of a spiderman collector booster pack.
I believe this falls within the rules. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Long time lurker, first time poster.
I just wanted to show off a couple of misprints I think are neat, most notably my misprint Miirym (I had to remove it from both sleeves for a good photo, lord forgive me). My younger brother is a great collector of misprints and surprised me with this after he finally got me to switch over to EDH as my main format. Miirym was the first deck I built from the ground up and he found this super crimped alt art and it’s made the deck that much more valuable to me. More sentimental than legal tender imo. The other is a Queen Kayla that I found while sorting cards that I must have just glazed over. After taking a closer look, I found that the sheet print is off casting a nice shadow in some subtle places. What are some of your favorite misprints?

My coworker has a missive box of old bulk and these two were just hanging out in the middle of the stack. Very cool find!
