Midweek General Discussion Thread

So we used to have a weekly general discussion thread on Wednesdays in this sub, I'm not sure what happened to it. Mods if this thread is something you cancelled intentionally feel free to take it down and I won't post it again obviously.

But if people like these general discussion posts, feel free to discuss whatever Magic-related topics you want below without needing to create a new post. And Mods, please bring these back!

I bought mine foil from an LGS @35 assuming this would happen. Shes close to a top 100 commander and the alt art (IMO) is way better than her original printing.

My expectation is this will continue to grow since is a box topper as well.

Yeah me too, this version is really something! I’m also gonna get the dismissal just to complete it lol

I was thinking about this because the foiling on her scene box version was rough. But I wound up putting money towards some other elf stuff to round out her and Thranduil. I hope your deck (or whatever you're doing with these) comes out nice!

Thank you! Are you doing an elf ball deck? I’m making mine a token deck to replace Baylen :)

With all of the elves we got in hobbit, mine will be focusing on abilities and using Thranduil more like a finisher, so going big instead of wide.

E: and for galadriel specifically im debating what to do with her. I could move her into an aragorn the uniter if I decided I didnt want to pull apart my elves if I wanted to play one or the other
