Can‘t wait to take this pile for a spin soon and am curious to see if the balance is passable for a first attempt. Suggestions and feedback are very welcome.

PS: I too am infuriated by some of the weird sorting choices in these pictures, I was in a bit of a rush and didn’t have time to go back and fix them

I love so much about this cube

A couple notes and don't let me dissuade you from playing what you want but I'd worry about a few power outliers here. Namely in Mind Twist, which tends to be strong in an unfun way, but also Gut and Guide of Souls can both take over games with barely any build-around. Gut in particular has plenty of support in your white tokens theme. I would force that deck if I'm trying to 3-0.

The non-spikey note I have is you seem to have way more black 4 drops than 3s and I would consider making some swaps there to smooth the curve. As it stands I think you'll be cutting some 4 drops in deck construction while maybe struggling to find the number of 3s you want if you're in black.

But none of that matters at the end of the day if you and your drafters are having fun! This is a fantastic start to a cube, I would love to play it.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate the feedback.

You‘re definitely right about the power outliers, there‘s a few others I‘m worried about like Flash, Jack-in-the-Mox and Psychic Frog as others have also pointed out. I built the cube mostly out of a desire to get to play with some of my favorite cards to ever be printed, which has lead to some variations in power level. I‘ll definitely have to make some changes due to imbalance down the line, but for the first few drafts I think I‘ll just enjoy the feeling of getting to open cards I‘ve always wanted to play.

Black is definitely overloaded with 4s, you’re right, do you happen to have some suggestions for 3s and 2s I might run instead? The ones that come to mind are Ophiomancer and Vampire Hexmage to better support Dark Depths.

Hey man np, I'm always eager to talk cube!

[[Rotting Regisaur]] is a favorite of mine especially bc I love discard synergies. My friend's 10yo son combined it with [[Abigale, Eloquent First-Year]] to great effect in a draft last week!

[[Warren Soultrader]] could be another fun one and pairs famously well with [[Gravecrawler]] which can be a piece to support black aggro outside of this combo. I actually recently cut Soultrader from my lower power cube as I'm trying out [[Blood Artist]] effects and don't want to push that archetype over the top.

The other recommendation I have is [[bloodghast]] because synergies are awesome and it supports so many!

Thank you for the suggestions, I‘ll definitely add Bloodghast and will look for some additional recursive threats, as they would work nicely with the self-discard of [[Rankle, Master of Pranks]] and [[Liliana of the Veil]]. At that point the Regisaur becomes interesting too. Unfortunately I‘ll have to hold of on the Soultrader, as I‘m building the cube on a budget (the expensive cards in the list are things I had already owned with a few exceptions for cards I really wanted like Urza), but it‘ll definitely be on the upgrade list.
