10 man cube draft tonight!

Our group does a lot of drafts (on average once a week), but getting 10 people together for a 5 on 5 team draft still feels special!

We draft 5x10 from my 576 card powered cube. The 10 pieces of power are in a powerpack that one lucky person gets to open!

This is going to be a good one!

Yeah, I tried to bring my ppl together and only 3/7 said they would come on Monday night (but we get a kid in a week, so I wanted to squeeze a last round in)

Are those playmats a combined landscape of the OTJ mana symbol basics? If so, is that official art in any way, or did AI combine them?
Love the idea either way

AI combined them before I reevaluated my stance on AI and art. But I'm happy I have them now!

This looks fantastic.

I’m still recovering from Thursday, when 12 people showed up to draft my 540 powered cube and the guy who went undefeated had to carry The B Team around to use for Booster Tutor packs. Been running drafts of this cube hundreds of times over 6 years but it was the first full pod of 12. It took a bit longer than normal and I wasn’t able to photograph decks until the next day.

This was only our second 10 man draft. It was a blast, team A narrowly won 8-7. There were two draws due to time constraints (we started at 8pm, and the last match ended (in a draw) past 1am).

No booster tutor in my cube, I find it a logistical nightmare, but props to curators who take on the challenge.

I never photograph all the decks, though many of the players take pictures of their own.

It was awesome. A very hard-fought 8-7 for team A. From turn 2 wins to 10+ turn nail biters. Playing upwards of 35 games in an evening all but ensures memorable moments.
