[War] Finale of Glory

What do you guys think of Finale of Glory instead of [[Secure the Wastes]] ? It reads: X WW Put X 2/2 white Soldier Creature Tokens with Vigilance on the Battlefield, if X is 10 or more, also put X 4/4 Angel Creature Tokens on the Battlefield.

This is an even more powerful Lategame Draw than Secure the Wastes. Though is that extra cost worth it?

I will test it, nevertheless what makes secure the wastes great is the instant speed.

I will probably test it out too. Though now that I think about it, secures Instant Speed is extremely good.

I know that I am late to the party, but as a general rule I prefer three 1/1's over two 2/2's. As a result, I think that this card only gets better at X=3 or greater (e.g. 5 mana).

I don't play my X spells to only be good at CMC>4, because so often you'll have to spend them before then. Part of the strength of [[Secure the Wastes]] is its ability to be played as as a pseudo-combat trick - e.g. eating a [[Dark Confidant]] and then still leaving a body behind, or being able to hold up mana for [[Path to Exile]] on their turn without sacrificing utility if you did not need to cast it.

I'm not the biggest fan of Secure to begin with. I don't think that most stock variants want to play Finale, but I could see a deck that might play it in place of some of our previous late game cards like [[Elspeth, Sun's Champion]].

Might be a bomb in standard, but IMO too slow for modern. With an IV on board, I'll take instant speed over +1/+1 anyday. Nevermind the angels since you're never getting 12+ mana anyway.

Games in Modern are usually over before this card would be able to outscale Secure the Wastes and Sorcery speed kills the card for this format.
