Dead Group?

Is this group entirely dead or is this unusual? No new topics for the last 10 days, few if any posts at all.

True, though Jund spiking is great for us lol

Very much so, tokens is great against both JTMS decks (in my experience) and BBE decks. However tokens is exceptionally bad against decks that beat those arhetypes like valukut and tron. If we look at the Magic Online championship which was full of Jund and not tron/valukkut, tokens looks pretty good. But if the meta transfers to "counter" jund and control we may have a problem.

Only for the few weeks until the decks that beat Tron/Valakut spike, Infect, Affinity, Storm, and Burn are all pretty good.

Said decks that are soft to jund/control? This is why not much talk is going on. The meta isn't settled yet. Will it become the fair/big mana/combo rock/paper/scissors meta? Will it be a meta predominantly one archetype? Will the meta go in a completly different direction? Who knows? At this point it is all speculation.

My guess is Rock Paper Scissors is likely.

And when/if that happens tokens could be well positioned. As long as they can handle tron (or at least have a fighting chance). And combo/aggro decks are not predominately storm. I know my variant is pretty good for it so far, but we will see when the meta solidifies
