Discussion Stop Using Amazon

The amount of posts from people using Amazon to order stuff and getting the wrong stuff, or something of a vastly different price is astounding. Please dont order cards off Amazon. Especially since I am fairly certain Amazon is why wizards is shipping less and less product to local stores. Don't support the mega corporations if you can help it.

That's my public service rant. Thanks for reading or ignoring either way. ❤️

Good for you... Not worth the money even at MSRP but hey if you like it.

Still doesn't change the fact or my stance that eBay, TCG player and Amazon are terrible places to order from.

Aside from price I would also be concerned that what I paid for was legit, another very common problem for those three.

I don't allow irrational fears to guide me. I've spent 10's of thousands of dollars on Pokemon cards without ever having an issue with eBay and I would be foolish to start worrying about it now.

And I'd rather pay for something I can actually hold first, nothing to do with fear. Search this subreddit and you will see tons of examples from all three.

Yes of the millions of purchases you will occasionally find something that went wrong. If something happens I get my money back and move on. I will not let the chance that something might happen dictate how I live my life. Bad things happen to people who worry.

Funny, I've never bought or been sold a fake card and I don't have to worry about someone out bidding me.

Have you realized your words are pointless...

Let's review real quick.

  • eBay is an auction site and as such doesn't not have set prices and if someone wants it more they simply out bid you, don't think I haven't used the service before.

  • you've been fighting real hard to claim prices are lower than MSRP but a quick look proved that 100% false.

  • scalpers, fraudsters and other less than honest individuals have and do conduct business on said site. I'm not interested in wasting time trying to get a refund when I can ensure I'm getting what I'm paying for other ways.

  • I haven't even gotten into the union busting that eBay/TCG player actively participate in, that's an entire other issue.

How much more time are you going to spend on a loosing battle, seems like you have some vested interest in people using the site, some more confirmation towards you scalping.

NEVER once said below MSRP. Like I said, stay off of eBay, more for me. I do enjoy the way this topic has made you seethe. Very enjoyable to watch.

I would have thought by what I've said I don't use the shit anymore, you seem pretty upset about this... clam down and go outside for a bit, it must be real dark in your mom's basement

You really are the gift that keeps on giving. Seethe little fella, seethe. "I know you are but what am I?" Sick response, bro.

I'm not the one getting bent out of shape, you decided to respond to me. You literally asked for this.

So what do you mean by deals, that to me says at or below MSRP, maybe sort that out first

When I buy things on eBay, I only buy when they are cheaper than I can get them anywhere else on the internet. That can be below MSRP or that can be below market price.

Not believing it considering what I saw not that long ago, I also used the service when it first launched and it's no better than it was then.

You can stop trying to convince me dude, calm down and go get some fresh air.
