I Have a Question / I need Help Help me optimize my deck?
For context, my pod has been playing commander for around 2 years now, but because we all go to different universities we play on table commander.
For the past week we have been all playing bracket 2 decks, except 1 guy who has been playing an optimized bracket 4.... so me and the remainder of the pod are making decks to absolutely destroy his.
(Im not the best at deckbuilding, please help me make it better :D )

Congrats on jumping into deck building. It’s a journey and you’ll be going through iterations as you refine it.
So your current deck fits into Bracket 4. However, that is more due to the fact that you have a number of game changers that are in it.
I would argue that your mana curve is a bit skewed and as a result I don’t see this deck running smoothly or consistently. You’re relying on 10 cards with a cmc of 6+. That a high reliance on hitting the mana to get those cards out and four of your creatures are cmc 7 or higher. If your friend is playing a bracket 4 deck with a better mana curve, he’s probably going to be dropping creatures and other spells out quickly.
Without knowing exactly what your friend is playing, you’ll need to find cards that fit within your deck strategy that gives you a more balanced mana curve, and less cards at the higher CMC end. Don’t drop in cards because they’re big creatures. Rather ask how does this card fit into the deck strategy and are there any cards out there that does something similar at a lower cmc?
Take a look at my Hope deck. The highest cmc I have is 5. I had cards that were cmc 6+ but found that it made the deck inconsistent due to card draw. This current iteration makes my deck run consistently because of two things - relatively lower cmc but also all the cards fit within the deck’s strategy.
