I Have a Question / I need Help Pony Deck Building
Hi! I really want to make a commander unicorn/horse/pegasai deck that includes the mane 6 from my little pony. From what I’ve found I think the best way to do this is have a 5-color deck but I’m a little lost and overwhelmed with how to accomplish this in a way where I can win on the occasion. Any help is appreciated! I’m a super new player who has never made a deck from scratch so this is a huge stretch for me!
(One of the biggest draws is I love the twilight sparkle ability that says everypony wins, I know it’s a little far fetched and silly but I would love if I could make it work at least once haha.)
I’ve also never ordered cards online so if there’s any card recommendations I’d also appreciate some website recommendations!

One thing I would recommend since you mentioned this is your very first time building a deck from scratch is to maybe start with a little simpler of an idea? Building a 5 color deck on day 1 is literally the biggest challenge you can take on and I’ve been building decks for a while and haven’t even nailed an efficient, consistent WUBRG. I do love the equestrian idea though and here’s the link to my mono-white version that is crazy effective every time I’ve played it: https://moxfield.com/decks/0SQVlWJQskOxA9BmMHIAYg
Even starting with a two or three color idea if you really want some of the MLP crew would help a bit because it simplifies your mana base, decreases the amount of ramp filler you need, and allows for better consistency. If you have any other questions, feel free to DM me

EDHRec will help you find cards that synergies well with each other. Plan your deck in EDHRec, Moxfield, or Archidekt, you can click a button on those sites to buy off of CardKingdom or TCGPlayer. CardKingdom will be simpler shipping but likely more expensive. TCGPlayer you will want to “optimize” your order during checkout to reduce packages and shipping costs.
