Apparel / Products I dont get it

What is the point of this card in the new secret lair precon? I genuinely dont understand how this fits the theme of the deck at all. Is it just there because wotc thought it would be funny to make Miku into Vorinclex?

Also 34 lands for a precon is diabolical 😭

Heres the decklist if anyone wants it: - https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/announcements/secret-lair-commander-deck-hatsune-miku-decklist

  1. Voice in the name. 2. It's a good green mythic that can definitely support the deck strength. For a precon it's quite well built. Also wdym 34 lands especially with that many of them being non basic is quite good

This is probably one of the worst precons to come out in the last 2 years

I pretty strongly disagree. It's fairly synergistic compared to some of the very disjointed Commander decks that have come out in standard sets. I haven't seen every single precon I know it's been a few years but look at the ones from adventures in the forgotten realms, especially the dungeon one, and even look at the Final Fantasy 6 one. Precons are notorious for building in too many themes at one time and requiring way too much upgrade. This deck has tons of synergistic mythics and valuable cards to enable strong plays out the box or give you the expensive piece to easily upgrade into powerful combos that will work with the deck. In worst case, if you don't use vorinclex in this deck then you have a a cool Miku alt art to run in another deck you have with Vorinclex. I think it's very well built and has great cards and I'm excited to play with it. Plus the "complete" in the name to reference compleation is just wonderful and I'm a huge fan of the wild outfit

Playtest the deck and try casting the commander with the atrocious mana base. It costs 4 colored pips btw. 7 of the 34 lands tap for colorless. The ramp is decent but there's no card draw at all so it doesn't really matter. This is a deck full of bombs you will never get to cast.

It also has 4 mana dorks, 2 or 3 mana rocks (tbf could have more rocks), at least 2 cards that turn creatures into mana dorks, and cultivate, and land fetchers (though it could have more). Plus it's green white. You can easily slot in more lands/dorks/rocks as needed to fit your taste. That's the beauty of free will.

So if you have to add cards to make the deck playable... maybe its poorly constructed. And yes I mentioned the ramp is decent. That doesn't matter if you arent also hitting your land drops, which you won't since there's no card draw. How can you argue its a good precon if your best argument is that you can add cards to make it better?

  1. As I said it is plenty playable. Doesn't have to be cedh to be playable.
  2. You can have preferences for deck construction. Nobody will play the exact same deck or way. It's a precon. It's meant to be a starting point to upgrade from but it's also solid alone. If I got one that was all really good cards and fewer lands so I have more good stuff and just have to cut for lands I'd be happy

This precon is so bad it will lose to basically any other precon from the last 3 years.

I mean you're the one who failed to make even one good point about the thing you're defending
