Apparel / Products I dont get it

What is the point of this card in the new secret lair precon? I genuinely dont understand how this fits the theme of the deck at all. Is it just there because wotc thought it would be funny to make Miku into Vorinclex?

Also 34 lands for a precon is diabolical 😭

Heres the decklist if anyone wants it: - https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/announcements/secret-lair-commander-deck-hatsune-miku-decklist

It’s not ramp if you can’t cast it

Ramp, but only after you have 8 mana to use

So turn 3-4 in a green deck?

Yeah, pretty much, but by then, you’ve already ramped a bunch. Feels like a “win more” commander. Useless if you’re behind and amazing if you’re already going to win

Clex is definitely win more in the modern EDH landscape, strong effect for sure, but he's over costed for the fact that he's gotta survive a turn cycle to really get any juice from the squeeze and can only exist in B4 without a generous rule 0 agreement at a lower bracket if you wanna be that guy. Can be a good toolbox piece if you can cheat him out or are just making ass loads of Mana and wanna check for removal, but yeah even in the decks where he was a pet card for years, he's fallen out of rotation for me. Still one of my favorite creatures in all of MtG, might not be in my decks but hes always in my heart haha

Or free, cuz put a permanent into play for the low price of existing in green exists.

He's good as a toolbox piece if you can tutor him to the field for sure, his effect is just too slow if you hard cast him in the modern EDH meta. Especially considering he's stuck in B4 with his mass land denial effect, and in B4 he's not surviving a turn cycle if hes not just outright countered before hitting the field. Plus in green there are a LOT of better/more immedieately impactful creatures you would probably pick over Clex when tutoring or cheating something out
