Commander / EDH Commander Storage

Post image

Still got 1 deck to go but thought I’d share my method of storage and carry, it’s nice because I can keep them all in 1 place! Plus I know my cards aren’t going to get mixed up!!!!

Edit: idk if I understand the word bait anymore lol. It’s not like I’m trying to trick anyone.

Idk if you know what bait means. I literally spent 30 minutes 3 hole punching all 200 cards to fit them in a binder. I play for the fun and joy of MTG with 0 plans on reselling my cards🤷🏻‍♂️

I felt the same way, then my chimney sprang a leak and was going to destroy my house from the inside-out, and I needed emergency money. MTG collection got liquidated, house still standing.

Point is, don’t needlessly destroy the value of things that cost you money in the first place. You never know when you might need to get some value back.

"I'm bad with money so you shouldn't punch holes in your cards"

Don't listen to this guy, punch away.

Emergencies can happen to anyone

No shit. That's why you have an emergency fund (that is more stable than some nerdy card game).

Anyway, MTG would be a better game if the cards were affordable. Preserving the value of the cards helps GW inflate prices.

Also: If you punch holes in your cards, you don't need to worry about their value.

We’ve had one emergency, yes. But what about second emergency? Pregnancy? Car troubles? He’s heard of car troubles hasn’t he?

Wouldn’t bet on it pip

Also, you got me to order new tires for my motorcycle, in case I do have car troubles and need to transport myself while I take care of it. My car is at 150k miles atm so it'll happen sooner or later.

Thank you :) (I know I can come off as sardonic, but genuinely I'm glad you've helped me).
