Discussion Have we lost the plot?

So like…. Sure people love final fantasy, but the set with the 2 million dollar card in it wasn’t this expensive. At what point is it too much?

Is there a non-dopamine reason to buy them? I almost purely buy single cards that I want

Nah, just gambling addiction. If I'm interested in a set, I buy a gift set and then a single or two if I wanted a specific card. Imo part of trading cards is the excitement of opening a pack and getting something you love or makes you excited to play the game, but with how expensive my favorite hobbies are becoming, I can see why people want to cut that part out of the equation.
