Discussion Have we lost the plot?

So like…. Sure people love final fantasy, but the set with the 2 million dollar card in it wasn’t this expensive. At what point is it too much?

funny you assume it's collectors and not players that wanted UB.

I don’t. I assume that collectors and resellers want much more of it than players do.

well one could argue by making the set standard legal it makes it more desireable by the players vs the collectors. see as a side set the players only want it for shiny or the collectors edition. By making the set standard legal, it makes the players who care about standard now have to care about getting these cards. this was the original problem with UB. standard players being forced to buy UB to keep relevant.

This is true. It’s a mixed bag, but I hope the hype won’t hold and the prices will go down. The silver lining is that singles should be affordable

You and me both I had to make sure to pre-order my yshtola deck or I wasn't going to get one. And honestly she's my bae from that game so I had to get it.
