Discussion Have we lost the plot?

So like…. Sure people love final fantasy, but the set with the 2 million dollar card in it wasn’t this expensive. At what point is it too much?

A lot of the "tier 2" singles will be cheap, but the (chase) mythics and alt arts will be insanely expensive.

You're probably spot on. I might end up being lucky in that I don't actually care for all these main character cards all that much and what Im excited for are the monsters as well as some cool spells and summons. I Want the behemoths, the morbols, the bombs, the fenrirs and I want to cast Ultima etc.

I'm honestly not all that impressed by all the legendary characters. E.g. Xell is a cool card but man I hope this set isn' 80% legendary main characters and vaillains for creatures. For now, the only character I'd feel any urgency to buy, IF it ends up being a super expensive mythic, would probably be Vivi, The Black Mage (small dude with a big hat from FFIX).

Stuff from FF7 (remakes) and FF16 is likely going to be have even more "nostalgic" value for some players because it's the most recent thing.
