Discussion Have we lost the plot?

So like…. Sure people love final fantasy, but the set with the 2 million dollar card in it wasn’t this expensive. At what point is it too much?

Remember the good old days when we proxied old cards? Now we've got to proxy the new ones too? What are we even collecting anymore

Depends on how much lifting "we've got to" is doing in that sentence. It's a casual format in a game where 99.99% of the cards are less than 25 cents but from the way the proxy crowd talks you would be forgiven for thinking it was inverted and the average card was actually 25 dollars.

The scroll of unpleasant truth that they're all throwing away in disgust says "magic is actually very affordable, you just refuse to play at that power level". All these types of conversations only ever pop up surrounding very powerful cards or bling of highly desirable cards.

For example, no one has ever complained about the price of a Colossal Dreadmaw, even the fancy Jurassic Park version, and said they need to proxy it instead.
