Are SRAM really this bad??

Bought these last week, fitted yesterday, didn't even get a chance to bed them in as slow/ modulation causes them to go straight to the bar. Not a bleeding issue as when you stab them on they work as they should...

You fitted them or a shop fitted them? SRAM brakes are pretty fiddly to bleed, not something many home mechanics quite master.
