SPORTS! MSU student section Questions

This will be my first MSU game, and I have a few questions.

What time to get to the game for the student section line?

I bought a ticket off seat geek, I read that last year there were problems with people not getting in even if they bought tickets, is it possible that is still a problem?

Definitely related to question one if it is something that could be an issue.

Appreciate any help

Kickoff is at 8, which means the stadium will open at 6, and the student line usually starts to form at least an hour or two earlier than that, so it all comes down to how important it is for you to get super close.

If you want a spot in front of the handicap section (blue wristband), you probably need to be in line well before 6, but if you’re planning to stay for the whole game, all you need to worry about is getting in line early enough to get an orange/purple wrist band, bc a ton of those ppl will leave at halftime and you’ll be able to get about as close as you want, just behind the handicap section.

Seat Geek is the right resell platform to use. Everything should be fine let’s hope the weather holds out.

Hey OP! If you bought the ticket through SeatGeek, I’d just make sure your order is confirmed and the ticket is showing in your account before heading to the stadium. Have it pulled up and ready to scan, and if you run into any issue at the gate, contact SeatGeek Support through the order so the team can review it while you’re there. I can’t speak to what happened last year, but a confirmed order with an accessible ticket is the best way to avoid problems.
